This rare color form of the orchid known as the
National Flower of Venezuela. Pale grey-blue
blooms with deeper lavender-blue veining in the
throat. Flowers appear in mid-spring and carry a
delightful perfume. 2.5” pots, $12.00.

‘Carol’ HCC/AOS x self.
Now considered a Laelia, this offering has extremely
tall bloom stems topped with large curly petaled pink
and white blooms. Very unique! Will need a bit of
space and some patience to reach flowering size but
oh so very worth it! Loves bright light and warm temperatures but can easily tolerate a range of conditions.

Cattleya pericivaliana ‘Summit’
The Christmas Orchid

This native Venezuelan species is one of our most popular offerings in the Cattleya alliance. Due to its compact growth habit, plants
can reach mature size in limited space and become show-stopping
specimens in just a few years. New growths emerge late in the year
with buds maturing just in time for the holiday season.
Flowers are a crystalline lavender with a unique blend of orange
and plum purple in the throat. ‘Summit’ is one of the larger clones
with flowers around 4 1/2” across that appear in groups of three
per stem. A well grown plant can carry six or more stems in a
single season, making for a most impressive holiday show!
We are offering Near Blooming Size plants in 3.5” pots, $17.95
and Blooming Size plants in 4”-5” pots, $29.95. The biggest
plants will sell first so order quickly!

Maudiae Paphiopedilums in Bud

A most unusual offering! This compact, terrestrial species
loves intermediate temperatures and light, which makes it
a perfect windowsill plant. When the inflorescence starts
to emerge (right) it resembles a festive lotus blossom. As
the stem stretches to its full height (left), individual trumpet
shaped blooms are visible. After flowering, leaves will start
to yellow and drop as the plant enters winter dormancy.

This stunning species is known as the King of the Ladyslippers. Tall, regal stems of richly colored
blooms make a definite statement. Petals have bold stripes of cream with chocolate and the pouch is
a dark glossy, wine shade. Plants are large growing, often reaching two feet or more in leaf span when
mature. Best grown in bright, filtered light perhaps hanging high in the greenhouse. (Spring)
