MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 10-325-Offered by President Maiocco Be it Resolved that the Medford City Council offer its sincere condolences to the family of Ross Nelson, Lt. Medford Park Police, on the passing of his wife Mary. 10-327-Offered by councilor Penta Be it Resolved that I would like to thank the many folks who have called to support the resolution and discussions offered by Councillor Maiocco and Councillor Penta last week for exposing the irresponsible and much needed corrective action to be taken at the Channel 3 station management for their inappropriate programming especially during prime time. 10-328-Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved that the gas pump inspection findings and ongoing tax saga of the three Salem street gas stations that have yet to meet our city's financial tax commitments and EPA commitments be discussed. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR 10-326April 15, 2010 To the Honorable President and Members of the Medford City Council City Hall Medford, MA 02155 Dear Mr. President and City Councillors: I respectfully request and recommend that your Honorable Body approve the transfer of $250,000 from Water Enterprise and $250,000 from Sewer Enterprise to Capital Program #844, entitled Flood Control. These funds will be used to hire consultants to analyze the issues that led to the devastating flooding problems and sewage backups triggered by excessive rain which began on March 12, 2010.
