COMPETENCY

perior performance in a job or situation.

NEED FOR THIS PROGRAM

senior level HR professionals involved in the
design development and implementation of
Performance Management Systems. Line func-

SBU heads will also benefit from this pro-
gramme .
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
In a competitive environment, organizations
are able to perform better and enhance value
through aligning employee performance with
organizational objectives. Research into ena-
blers of high performance has conclusively
shown that performance is dependent on or-
ganizational efforts in enhancing employee
commitment and competency levels, as well as
fostering a culture of performance. Thus, sus-
tained competitive advantage for organizations
is determined, in general terms by the degree
of people orientation of the organization or
more specifically the performance manage-
ment systems and practices in place.
