O.Il.e.
My husband and I were married on September 7, 1985. We have four children:
J. Deters, born May 8,2004,
Patrick
Mary Elyse H. Deters, born October 5,1993, Jonathan T. Deters,
born July 7, 1990 and Joseph S. Deters, born January 25, 1989.
My husband and I have been very blessed.
Throughout our marriage, my husband always
earned a substantial income through his positions as the Hamilton County, Ohio Prosecutor,
Treasurer of the State of Ohio and his other private legal work with Waite Schneider Bayless &
Chesley Co LPA ("WS8&C")
and now with Markovits, Stock & DeMarco, a finn comprised of
former members of Waite Schneider Bayless & Chesley Co LPA (see the printout from their
firm website, attached hereto).
According to his W-2's and 1099's, attached hereto, in 2010 my husband had Medicare
wages of $80,271.04 from his duties as prosecutor, $199,999.92
tram his work with WSB&C,
and $2,400.00 from his position on the board ofSt. Joseph Cemetery Association.

from his work with WSB&C, and he also earned $2,400.00 from his
posi tion on the board of st. Joseph Cemetery Association.
When my husband and I married, I was in college.
Upon graduation, I was employed on
a full-time basis. However, after the birth of our child, Joseph, in 1989, I only worked part-time
for my father's engineering firm so that I could raise our children.

campaigns of my mother, uncle and husband.

Executive Director.
According to my W-2's, attached hereto, [earned $2,000.00 in 2010,
$44,745.00 in 2011 and $48,724.98 in 2012. I currently earn a salary of$49,999.992
per my pay
stub, attached hereto.
We have been fortunate to live a financially comfortable life. Our last two homes had
purchase prices over $500,000.00.
ln fact, when my husband became the Treasurer of the State
of Ohio, we moved into a new development
on the Four Bridges Country Club golf course that
was featured in Horneararna (an annual event that features a new, upscale, residential
neighborhood
development).
We belonged to four bridges country club until last summer
because [ could no longer afford to pay the dues. We also enjoyed the services of a housekeeper.
All of our children attended parochial grade schools and catholic high schools (St. Xavier
and Ursuline).
OUf youngest child, Patrick, is currently in the 4th grade and St. Margaret of
York Catholic School. Our daughter, Mary Elyse, is currently a sophomore at the University of
Alabama. Our oldest boys attended The University of Notre dame, Xavier University.
They are
both currently in graduate school, one in medical school at the University of Cincinnati and the
other in Law School at the Salmon P. Chase School of Law. Historically, we paid for our
children's tuition and other related expenses.
All of our children had cars when they were able to drive. I belonged to Lifetime fitness,
had my nails done every 2 weeks and my hair done every 6 weeks. Shopping has always been a
normal weekly occurrence.
We historically took several vacations per year. We would usually
go out onc to two nights per week as a family and one night each weekend, adults only, to a nice
restaurant or event.
My husband moved out of our home on July 8,2012.
Since then, he deposits money into
our joint account that I use to pay household expenses as well as all of the expenses associated
with our children including.
He unilaterally decided to give me and the children $2,200.00 per
pay period (26) for his county check and $2,000.00 per pay period (24) from his private legal
employment
for a total of $8,766.67 per month, tax free. These amounts are not sufficient to pay
the household and child related expenses that were historically paid by us or to provide the
lifestyle to which the children and! have become accustomed.
It is important to understand the expenses that
r cover
from the money that my husband
"gives" me. He does not pay for any expenses related to the children.

gas, books and incidentals, car payments and insurance, just like we did
when my husband and [lived together.
Further, in addition to all of the child-related expenses, I
pay the monthly lease payment tor my husband's Mercedes Benz ($500.00) and his car
insurance.
All of these expenses appear in my affidavit of income and expenses.
I really do not know what my husband does with the rest of his money. It is my
understanding
that he lives in a condo owned by a friend and does not pay any rent or expenses.
Since 1cover any other significant expenses for his benefit, what docs he have to pay for?
To make matters worse, my husband does not spend any significant time with our son,
Patrick. After he moved out July 8, 2012, my husband initially saw Patrick only ifhe came
home. He rarely called at night. I finally formulated a schedule of having my husband see
Patrick on Wednesday evenings and one overnight each weekend.

Unfortunately,

For instance, my husband has been out of town 3 of the
last 4 weekends, thus missing his visits. In short, my husband's time with our son only occurs if
it "fits" his schedule.
It is my understanding
that when they do visit, they usually just stay home
or attend some function or event for my husband and his peers.
