INNOVATIONS IN REGULATED INDUSTRIES
This one day program will focus on innovation. Panels will discuss innovations in the communications industry, the increasing emphasis on renewable energy, the resurgence of nuclear energy, and the challenges in financing these innovations in regulated industries.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Program Location
The site of the program is the Conference Center of the Pepco Holdings headquarters at 701 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20004.

We have not reserved a block of rooms, however, there are a few hotels within walking distance to Pepco Holdings: the Hotel Monaco, the Grand Hyatt, the Renaissance, and Courtyard Convention Center. Early Registration
We request that all registrations be made in advance by completing the attached form and mailing or faxing it with your payment (checks payable to the American Bar Association) to the ABA Section of Public Utility, Communications and Transportation Law, 321 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60610. The deadline for receipt of advance registrations is March 31, 2008. Conference registrations will only be accepted when accompanied by a check, credit card, money order, government purchase order or government training form.

On-Site Registration
On-site registration is available to those persons who missed the March 31, registration deadline. If you plan to register at the door, you must call 312/988-6238 at least 72 hours before the conference to confirm that space is available. On-site registrations will only be accepted when accompanied by a check, credit card, money order, or government training form.

Registration Confirmation
In order to be listed in the pre-registration list distributed at the program, registrations must be received by March 31, 2008. If you do not receive a written confirmation by then please call 312/988-6238 to verify that your registration form and check were received.

Cancellation Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the conference will receive a refund less a $25 administrative fee if a written cancellation is received by March 28, 2008. Cancellations must be in writing and may be faxed to Susan Koz at 312/988-5572. No refunds will be granted after March 28. The ABA reserves the right to cancel any programs and assumes no responsibility for personal expenses.

CLE Credit
CLE accreditation has been requested for this program from every state with mandatory CLE requirements. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including its definition of “CLE”. Check with your state agency for confirmation of this program’s approval.
