HELPING THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED
Rep. Cook Supports Exempting Military and Disabled Retirees from COLA Cuts
As a veteran, Paul Cook knows firsthand the sacrifices our brave men and women veterans have made
for our country. He is a strong supporter of keeping our promise to our nation’s heroes, which is why
Paul Cook:
3 Cosponsored H.R. 3790, which would ensure veterans receive their full Cost of Living
Adjustment (COLA).
3 Introduced the Veteran Employment and Training Service Study Act of 2014 to ensure that
dollars that are supposed to spent on veterans services are going to our veterans not bureaucracy
and overhead.
3 Formed the bipartisan “Work for Warriors Caucus” to increase awareness of California’s
extremely successful Work for Warriors program, which helps our nations heroes find employment.
