CA (Jan, 2008 June, 2010) Proposal manager for 10 five-year IDIQ contracts awarded in 2009 to Torres by General Services Administration covering the State of California. Potential awa rd value of each pair of contracts exceeded $50,000,000 per year depending on fu nds available to GSA. Required evaluation and interpretation of RFP requirement s and preparation of sophisticated government contract requirements. Result was that Torres was able to enter successfully a new market in government contracti ng with federal agencies in California. Provided counsel including development of strategy and presentation outline fo r Torres management to present to executive management of Los Angeles Unified Sc hool District to resolve conflicts, disputes, and potential loss of client by To rres.
