PGD in Business Management PGD in Information Systems The Association of Business Practitioners (ABP) has worked with expert practitioners to develop a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems to explore relevant issues from an international and global perspective. This programme has been developed in line with the QCF guidance and regulations applicable to qualifications accredited by Ofqual, the government regulator of qualifications and assessments. Diploma in Business and Administrative Management The IAM Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business management positions. Holders of the qualification will also be eligible for progression to various UK university degree programmes. A combination of mandatory and optional units offers learners the fl exibility to study those units that are of interest to them. The course can be studied full time, which takes one year; or part time, which takes two years. Students are assessed by formal examination, controlled assessment, case studies and assignments. The qualification is accredited by the appropriate qualification Regulatory Authorities. It focuses on topics which are necessary for those who want to understand how organisations plan their activities at a strategic level and how they implement these plans in a way that contribute towards the smooth running of organisations and the maximisation of their competitive advantage. Candidates will develop a holistic approach to business together with the analytical and evaluative skills necessary for those in managerial positions.

Three modules are mandatory and the candidate must complete at least one of the two optional modules successfully before the Award can be issued. The Professional Diploma in Business Management & Marketing can be taken as a singular level over the course of a six-month period (provided candidate meets the entry requirements). This Professional Diploma (NQF Level 5) can also be taken in conjunction with the Diploma, Higher Diploma and Graduate Diploma culminating in the achievement of a Graduate Diploma in Business Management & Marketing. The qualification taken in this way should be studied over a recommended course of 2-years duration (exemptions may influence this.) The course may also be offered over a longer period if necessary. Graduate Diploma in Business Management & Marketing Candidates must attempt a minimum of four modules in total.
