incorruptible crown 1 Cor. 9:25 crowns of gold on the 24 elders clothed in white and seated around the throne Exo 39:30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. The "crown" in the Greek "stephanos", a garland of victory the crown we are prom ised is not the same word in 1Peter 5:4 as a "kingly crown"...that is a Greek wo rd,"diadema"...used in Rev. 19:12 and reads of the Lord Jesus ..."many crowns" The crown of glory we receive is the Victory of a set apart life. The GLORY of His Glory when we are able to partake of that same glory, at His coming. This crown of victory, the crown of glory makes all the suffering and the tribul ations worth it. We will then know a joy unspeakable and full of glory....;making the reproach an d persecutions all worth it....now we can understand that if we suffer for the Name of Christ, and we are reproached for the name of Christ, we will share in t he glory of Christ in that Day. Rom 8:18 (18) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Now I really and truly expect the redemption of our bodies...there is a day of r edemption coming in which the ransom from the power of the grave, and the promis e of Glory is coming upon us. I believe that the Spirit of him tha traised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us and he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken our mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in us. Joh 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endure th unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
