Introduction
Thank you for taking the time to review the 2008 Hub Racing Sponsorship Proposal. The purpose of this proposal is to introduce ourselves and show how sponsorship can benefit you. Cycling is a great opportunity to generate advertising exposure, increased public interest and an enhanced public image through the sponsorship of a professional cycling team. Hub Racing is an organization which offers involvement in a complete program that promotes cycling and a clean healthy lifestyle. Partnership with a respected, global company such as yours will strengthen our success, while promoting your brand across the U.S. The following program offers an exciting concept and a very promising opportunity. Thank you for your time and consideration. Shawn Blumenfeld Team Director [email protected] (202) 345-1177

City Bikes RFK Criterium
Hosted by HUB RACING, the City Bikes Criterium is Washington DC’s only annual bicycle race. In 2006 and 2007 the race boasted a $5000 purse in the Women’s Pro event. The race is held on the Grand Prix Race Course at historic RFK Stadium originally designed for the Grand Prix Auto race series. Begun in 2003 as part of the North American Cycle Courier Championships, the City Bikes Criterium is now a Show Case event on the MABRA calendar. The City Bikes Criterium attracts racers from all over the country and features one of the largest prize lists in the region. Portions of proceeds from the race are donated to the Doug Gordon Memorial Easter Seals Fund and the race serves as a platform for WABA, the local bicycling advocacy organization.
