Teradata DBAs 1. Performance monitoring using PMON and Teradata Manager . 2. Exposure to Teradata tools like Teradata Administrator/Queryman/TSET etc. 3. User/objects & access rights management as per Teradata Best practices. 4. Exposure to backup and restore process using Veritas netBackup(TARA)/netvault /Tivoli etc. 5. Exposure to manage the development/QA boxes. 6. Exposure as an Development DBA. 7. Well conversant with various ticketing system/production change request/ Tera data Incident management. 8. Exposure to MVC, Capacity planning and performance Management. 9. Exposure to troubleshoot the FastLoading / Multiloading/ FastExport/ BTEQ/ TP ump errors, should be good at error handling. 10. Exposure to TASM/TDWM 11. Exposure to DWH Env (Knowledge of ETL/DI/BI Reporting).
