Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Exam Pattern: For the post of Jr.Engineers
(Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil), the selection methodology will comprise three-stage process –
i) Written Test (two papers).
ii) Personal Interview.
iii) Medical examination.
DMRC Written Exam Pattern:The written test will consist of two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on
the same day in the same centre). Paper I will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions and Paper
-II will consist of subjective type questions.
DMRC Paper-I Exam Pattern: Paper-I will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions, on below
stated subjects.

Note: There will be no negative marking in Paper I.
DMRC Paper-II Exam Pattern: Paper-II will consist of subjective type questions on Paragraph Writing,
Comprehension, Essay and questions on Science &Technology matter, in English Medium to judge the
candidate’s comprehension skills & test of English language.
The Paper-II shall be of 1.5 hours duration.

It contains two sections: Verbal and Non Verbal

 Test of Direction Sense
 Coding-Decoding
 Arithmetical Reasoning
 Problem on Age Calculation
 Blood Relations & Decision Making etc.
NON-VERBAL
 Non Verbal Series
 Mirror Images
 Grouping Identical & Embedded Figures
DMRC Syllabus Paper II
Syllabus includes all the basic Knowledge about the applied technical posts.
For the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (post code-01), the selection methodology will comprise four-
stage process
Written Test (Two Papers)
Paper 1- General awareness, English, logical ability, quantitative aptitude or knowledge of the trade/discipline.
Paper 2- paragraph writing, comprehension, essay and question on screen & technology matter, in English
medium to judge the candidates comprehension skills and test of English language.
Psycho Test
Personal Interview followed by
Medical examination in Aye-one category.
Syllabus for DMRC SC / TO Written Test:
The written test is divided into Paper-I and Paper-II. Both the papers are held on the same day in the same
centre.
Paper-I (1.5 hours):
It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions, with provision of negative marking for wrong answers,

Quantitative Aptitude and/or knowledge of the discipline/trade.
Paper-II (1.5 hours):
It will consist of subjective type questions on

Questions on Science & Technology matter
Personal Interview and Medical Test:
All shortlisted candidates will have to go through an interview followed by a Medical Test.
