Step 1: Power Rating Observation and Notation
1.Locate the safety sticker on the equipment in the laboratory. Examine the power rating of the equipment. Complete the table below for the equipment listed below as well as any other equipment in the room.
2.Assuming the equipment is connected to standard 120 VRMSwall outlets, list the maximum current for each device.
3.Typical circuit breakers allow a maximum of 15 Amperes before tripping. Determine how many of each of these devices could be connected to the same breaker without tripping.
