Excellence in research, wealth of industry experience and innovative programmes come together to provide a unique experience.

At the Cutting Edge of Asian Executive Education
“The Nanyang Business School started offering the English EMBA programme in 2007 It has . since grown from strengths to strengths, not only in terms of the number, quality and diversity of participants, but also in the range of EMBA options. Our EMBA programme is noted for several distinctive characteristics. First, we carefully select our participants to ensure a good mix of backgrounds so as to enrich the classroom learning experience. Hence, we avoid taking more than two participants from the same company/organisation. Second, our instructors are highly experienced, the majority have consulted/conducted executive programmes for companies. Some even sit as directors, consultants and advisors to corporate boards/organisations. As such, they bring to the classroom immense industry and commercial experiences. Third, we plan and design our curriculum to suit the needs of our participants. In particular, we take a very practical and strategic approach to problem-solving. Fourth, we provide participants with unique opportunities to experience the best education from the east and west. Participants are given the opportunity to complete courses in the United States (including visits to companies in the Silicon Valley) and/or Europe. Finally, we tailor our programme to the specific needs of the industry. For example, the EMBA for SMEs enjoy tremendous support and endorsement from SPRING Singapore. Our EMBA in Shipping, Offshore & Finance has also attracted a wide spectrum of support and candidates from various sectors of the industry. In sum, we at NBS, do not only talk about our programmes. We will constantly strive to make your experience a richer and more beneficial one through continuous improvement and refinement, and to ensure that you get the best value for your education. ” Wee Chow Hou (C.H. Why I Chose the Nanyang EMBA Programme
To be able to pursue a graduate programme after graduating 17 years ago in one of the best universities in Asia has indeed fulfilled my lifelong dream. I was amazed and impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm that the Nanyang Business School’s management, authority and key professors have demonstrated in interacting with students, their willingness to listen to students' feedback and needs, with all the keen intention to create, structure, design and offer the best to the students. My tenure as a student has been truly enriching. The diversity among the students, in terms of seniority and experience, culture, and the industry that they represent, have contributed much to the impact and success of the programme. The segment in UC Berkeley has provided me with a benchmark on "quality education in a renowned top university" and I now appreciate and treasure my association with NBS even more. This programme has totally re-engineered my way of planning and running my dayto-day business and long term business expansion plans, succession, sustainability and financial readiness. My thought processes have changed and improved tremendously, especially in the way I deal with cash flow, accounting and financial management. I would highly recommend the NTU-NBS EMBA programme to those who are keen to upgrade their business and management acumen. You will gain a higher level of personal confidence, work competency and readiness in reacting to the fast changing, increasingly uncertain and highly globalised business landscape.
