Rules and Regulations for EMBA Specialization Projects
1. Project should be done in the area of their specialization. Example, EMBA finance student should do project in related with Financial Management. 2. Project should be done for the organization where you are currently employed. Or to an organization of the good repute. 3. Authorization letter should be provided by the organization in their letter head as per the format mentioned in Annexure 1. 4. Project should be of original work. Copying from web, or copying from previous projects will get rejected. 5. Total marks for the project is 200. Project work Report Viva voce Total : : : 150 Marks 50 Marks 200 Marks
Viva voce will be conducted after theory examinations.
6. Only one person has to do the project in a particular topic.
7. Suggested Style TITLE OF THE PROJECT (20 pts. Cambria Bold) Heading 1 (16 pts. Calibri Bold) Heading 2 (14 pts. Calibri Bold) Heading 3 (13 pts. Calibri Bold) Project contents (12 pts. Calibri) Line spacing: 1.5 lines 8. Format of the project should be as per Annexure 2. 9. Project Report should not exceed 150 pages. 10. One hard copy of the project along with softcopy in CD has to submitted to ICBMS Educational Trust.

11. Softcopy of project report has to be given to the project performing organization. 12. The guide should be expert person from the field of specialization both academic and practitioner. 13. Certificate from the guide should be attached. 14. The decision of project evaluation committee is final and binding. 15. Intellectual property of the project will become the property of ICBMS Educational Trust, who has every rights to modify / change / delete / add contents. 16. Students are requested to keep the copy of acknowledgement mail sent by ICBMS for receipt of project work. In case students do not receive the acknowledgement mail, kindly follow with ICBMS for the same.

Cover Page for the project (Should include LOGOs of Kuvempu University and ICBMS; Refer to any sample project report from ICBMS office) Letter from Company (From the Organization / Company which sponsored the project work; Refer the previous page) Certificate from Project Guide (From K.Subramanian) Table of Contents Introduction to the project Aim and Objectives Need for Project Study & Research (Provide the reasons / pain points to conduct this project) Methodology used in the project (This should clearly highlight the CONCEPT of PROJECT MANAGEMENT being used in this project work) Literature review (Background of the Project Domain / Topic) Findings and Analysis (Provide the outcome, outputs of the project work)
Conclusion and recommendations (What has been achieved / Final result w.r.t the Project Objective) Appendices / Annexures (Provide all supporting data sheets, program code, templates, Resumes, Role & Responsibilty Matrix etc, If any of them are used in this project work) Acronyms / Abbreviations References (Bibliography) Acknowledgement
