Ernie Homes a former "Steel Curtain" member and Steelers lineman, was pronounced dead in a one-car accident in Beaumont, Texas earlier today. He was 59 years old. Ernie Holmes had played with the Steelers from 1971-1977 He was a two-time Super Bowl champion with Pittsburgh.
