Facebook Posts on School Security
July 30, 2013, ROPE posted a portion of a letter sent to parents by an Oklahoma school, telling parents they would need to come by and have their driver's licenses scanned in order to be able to enter the school in the next school year. ROPE's position is that this is an infringement of the 4th and 5th Amendments to the Constitution and is not an effective means of keeping children safe. This instituted quite a Facebook firestorm.
