REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University
/Institution.
Experience:
15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized
University or a post-graduate Institution or professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or international
organization.
OR
10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a
recognized University or a post-graduate institution or
professional experience in the relevant field in a National or
International Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications:
The applicants must have 15 research publications (with at least
05 publications in last 05 years) in the journals recognized by
HEC.
Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized
University/Institution.
Experience:
10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized
University or a post-graduate Institution or Professional
experience in the relevant field in a National or International
Organization.
OR
05-years post Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a
recognized University or a post-graduate institution or
professional experience in the relevant field in a National or
International Organization.
Minimum Number of Publications:
The applicants must have 10 research publications (with at least
04 publications in last 05 years) in the journals recognized by
HEC.
Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and
reputable Institution in the relevant field with either 6-years
post-Ph.D./Relevant terminal degree or minimum of 4-years of
post-Ph.D. experience with at least 6-years of teaching/research
experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate
Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a
National or International Organization prior to the Ph.D. plus 10
research publications in journals recognized by the Higher
Education Commission with at least 4 publications in the past 5
years in Internationally Abstracted Journals, recognized for the
purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher
Education Commission.
Provided further that Post terminal Degree experience will
remain unchanged
Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University
/Institution.
OR
Master’s degree (foreign) or M.Phil. (Pakistan) or equivalent
degree awarded after 18 years of Education as determined by the
HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized
University/Institution with 04 years teaching/ research
experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate
institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a
National or International Organization.

Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized
institution:
Provided that he must be excellent in written communication
and oral presentation skills.




First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) or Second Class Master’s
degree with M.Phil. or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years
of education in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the
academic career, from an HEC recognized University/
Institution, provided that in the subject of English, candidates
having M.A 2nd division shall be eligible to apply.
Provided further that the candidate holding higher degrees viz.
M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree but with only one 3 rd
division in the entire academic career shall also be eligible.
Provided further that benefit of higher degree viz.
M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree shall not be allowed to the
candidates who are eligible on the basis of higher
qualification.

Terms & Conditions for apply:1. Applicants should apply only on the prescribed form, available at the office of the Registrar as well as on
University website http://www.bkuc.edu.pk/.
2. Original receipt of online payment/Demand Draft (non-refundable) of Rs. 2,000/- for the post of Professor
and Associate Professor, Rs. 1,500/- for the post of Assistant Professor and Lecturer in favor of Treasurer,
Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, or online payment to United Bank Limited, Charsadda, Main Branch
Code-0232 Account No-0991741-2 must be attached with application form (s).
3. The candidates having Foreign Degree/Certificate will provide Equivalency Certificate from HEC /IBCC,
Islamabad.
4. Less than 3.00/4.00 CGPA will be considered Second division.
5. Application Forms, complete in all respects, along with all relevant documents/experience certificates and
three passport sized color photographs should reach the office of the under signed on or before November
06, 2015 positively.
6. Incomplete applications or those received after due date shall not be entertained.
7. Original documents will have to be produced at the time of interview.
8. The candidates serving in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies should route their
applications Through Proper Channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate from their concerned
department/institution along with the application form.
9. Eligibility in all aspects shall be reckoned upon closing date of advertisement.
10. Only Short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
11. No TA/DA shall be admissible during test/interview. The candidates shall be called for test/interview
through their email & Contact Nos addresses only. However, Contact Nos. must be provided for quick
correspondence.

Note-1: After the clarification from the Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department, Peshawar and under
Section-46B (1) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities (Amendment), Act, 2015, the previous advertisements
regarding the vacant positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturer as mentioned
above of the Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, will be processed on the Statutes of the University of Peshawar.
Those applicants who have already applied for the above positions as already been advertised in different
newspapers need not to apply again rather they can update their application forms only for the above posts.
Furthermore, their NTS test already conducted for the different posts of lecturer are considered, however, if any
applicant wants to re-appear in the test then he should apply afresh. Tests for fresh applicants will be arranged, in
due course of time.

Errors and omissions, if any, shall be subject to rectification by the University.
