Définition : un portrait est une œuvre picturale, sculpturale, photographique ou littéraire représentant une personne réelle ou fictive, d'un point de vue physique ou psychologique. Dans notre monde sur-imagé, l’auto-représentation portraitiste est devenue un nouveau genre. À force de surenchère empirique, notre relation « à Nous (même) » s’est brouillée, nous amenant même à ne plus être au présent, mais à être digitalement. La mélancolie du temps passé rattrape nos desseins aux bonheurs. Notre recherche d’équilibre cristallise ses questionnements sur les limites de nos expérimentations. Une prise de conscience authentique installe définitivement l’Éthique au cœur de notre introspection et ouvre la voix de cette période charnière. Éthique, Démarche citoyenne, Partage, Respect… autant d’attitudes qui sonnent comme la fin d’une ère égoïste. La culpabilité nous envahit, et assombrit l’optimisme des premières heures. Le repli vers des valeurs authentiques sonne comme la réponse à un meilleur avenir. Definition: A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person. In our over-imaged world, the auto-representation of a portrait has become a new genre. By an empirical over-bid, the relation “with Ourselves“ is scrambled, bringing us to no longer live in the present but digitally. The melancholy of past time catches up with our aim to happiness. Our search for balance crystallizes the questionings on the limits of our experimentations. An authentic consciousness definitely installs Ethic at the heart of our introspection and opens the road to this pivotal period. Ethic, Approach, Citizen, Share, Respect… attitudes that sound like the end of a selfish era. The guilt invades us and darkens the optimism of the beginning. The withdrawal towards authentic values sounds like the answer to a better future.

Le cycle organique s’impose comme modèle absolu. Recycling, Reflections, Returns, Ricochets… The hydro-elementary basis retains our attention. The long pelisse and the wavy surface will mix with the broken curves of the hydro-aesthetics. The gelify aspect will soften the dry and breakable cottons. The humidified appearances and the humid patterns will draw a new aesthetic to coincidence. Washing, Tie Dye, Washed-out, Faded, Whitened, Diluted, Soaked… the patterns and prints will play “Cleanliness”. The dissolved and diffused weaving will supplant the artificial rigors. À l’image de tribus aux mœurs séculaires, notre rapprochement nous unit, tel un clan familial. Les valeurs simples font écho à nos besoins vitaux. De l’union de nos desseins élémentaires naît une nouvelle esthétique au profil innocent. L’Autorité Nature fusionne et façonne avec harmonie l’allégorie d’un terroir polyglotte. L’esprit naïf emporte l’esthétique convenue, et singularise avec légèreté le « stricto sensu-el ». The dawn of the austere future diverts our stare from the selfish reflections. The community awakening develops our fraternal instincts. Like tribes with secular behavior, our reconciliation unifies us, like a family. The simple values echo in our vital needs. From the union of our elementary intentions is born a new innocent aesthetic. The Authoritarian Nature fuses and shapes, with harmony, the allegory of a polyglot region. Loin des cowboys de l’Ouest, les carreaux du Nord s’épanouissent façon clan, sur cretonnes, voiles de coton, lins et lainages. Toute la famille des ovidés et leur toison réconfortante sont mises à l’honneur : les bouclés foisonnant, frisonnant jusqu’aux ondulés. Les manchettes et gabardines d’antan enserrent la préciosité d’étoffes aux souvenirs marqués.

Le traditionnel Bleu de Nîmes laissera place à une palette ocre et terreuse. Des accents gaéliques et des délavages doux confèrent à la serge une onctuosité presque gourmande. Des « sur-travails » de la toile, en tressage, complèteront le langage bucolique d’un esprit pastoral. L’humour acidulé de touches sucrées confère à l’ensemble une naïveté « adulescente ».
The traditional Denim blue (“Bleu de Nîmes”) will leave its place to an ocher and sol palette. Gaelic accents and soft fades award the baize unctuousness nearly sweet. The details in the cloth especially with the weave will complete this bucolic language. The acidulous humor of sweet touches awards an “adulescente” naivety.

Au lendemain de crépuscules sombres, notre nouveau regard se porte sur les splendeurs noircies de la Nature. Erreurs du passé, cicatrices visibles d’une main trop pressante ; le lyrisme mélancolique de la Nature qui implore, bouleverse notre appréhension face à elle. Au préambule de notre nouvelle façon d’être, l’Imaginaire-souvenir de contes enfantins, grime notre faciès d’étranges singularités animales. L’apparition fantomatique de notre reflet nous projette aux frontières du réel. After the dark dusk, our new vision will follow the darkened splendors of Nature. The past’s mistakes; visible scars of an oppressing hand; the melancholic lyricism of Nature that implores, disrupts our apprehension towards her. At the preamble of our new way of being, the imaginary souvenir of children’s tales paints our faces with strange animal singularities. The ghostly apparition of our reflection projects us at the border of reality.

Les brillances et nuances de reflets seront le leitmotiv des mélanges. L’aspect soyeux et satiné, voire patiné, mettra en avant la provenance naturelle de la fibre. Les fortes résistances tout en légèreté serviront l’esprit fantomatique. Des artificiels et synthétiques naîtront chimères vaporeuses et étoffes à l’esprit de fumée.

The foggy and light envelop of the chiffons, cloths, evanescent mesh and veil symbolically dissimulates the skin. The skin is back in the foreground with epidermal and skin touch aspects. The games of dermal fabric will accentuate with shades off skin colors. The shades of similar tones will develop the curiosity of hidden patterns. The skin aspect is declined in many ways: colt, elephant, coarse fur, soft fur, peach skin… the satins and crepes will hum a language between shadow and light. Caped in velvet and rigorous drapery, a scaled body astonishes us by its brightness.

Le retour de bâton est toujours un peu douloureux… il faut bien, un jour, payer l’addition. Au déclin de notre existence, les doutes modernistes assaillent et ébranlent nos assurances passées. Et si justement, plutôt que de « surfacturer », nous capitalisions sur les acquis ? L’opulence matérialiste de l’âge d’or décoratif refait surface, et entame un véritable dialogue historique avec notre épure contemporaine. L’affection mémorable de temps plus sobres compose une marqueterie loufoque, presque confuse. L’intimité de souvenirs fait surface. Un sourire bienheureux illumine notre faciès. Les générations s’attirent à la manière de mosaïques dissonantes et orientalistes. We always pay the price one day. At the doom of our existence, the modern doubts attack and undermine our past certitudes. And if, instead of “over-charging”, we capitalized on our skills? The materialistic opulence of the decorative golden age is back and raises a historical dialogue with our minimalistic contemporary. Les allusions au tailoring britannique sont nombreuses, une sorte de nouveau colonialisme orientaliste dans un répertoire Arte-povera. Les jacquards exaltent leur technicité.

Le travail historique de la filature sera mis en avant. Les mailles à grosses jauges et les naturels imparfaits côtoieront soies fibreuses et cotonnades rustiques. Crin, lin, chanvre, jute, ramie joueront leur carte douceur. Loin de déplaire, les synthétiques, façon crêpe et nylon à l’ancienne, feront leur retour. Le naturel leur sera préféré créant et appuyant l’authenticité.

“Assembling” reigns and announces the historical comeback. Game of dissonant harmony and opposed geometry. A strong and marked graphical language flourishes of past allusions and accessories. The polished, the vynils and varnished will come and support matified satins. The color is velveted, the patterns are precise and faded. Cosmopolitan art deco from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s breaks out of the archives and inspires a new ornamented dialect. The allusions to British tailoring are numerous, sort of new oriental colonialism in a repertoire Arte-povera. The jacquard exalts its technicality.
The historical work of the spinning will be put forward. The mesh with big gauge and the imperfect naturals will rub shoulders with fibrous silks and rustic cottons. Horsehair, linen, hemp, jute, ramie will play their softness card. The synthetics, similarly to crepe and nylon will do their big comeback. They will create authenticity with their natural looking aspect.

Les All-over aux teintes de Nîmes, toujours dans un esprit néo-classique à forte connotation historique, imprimeront la toile. Les esprits 60’s se traduiront par de fortes rigidités, corrigées de touchers ultra doux.
Straightforward tons with a reference to vintage will color the serge. The lacquered spreading, like an old Polaroid, will echo the satin icings. The Overall of denim tints, with a neo-classical feel of historical connotations, will print the fabric. The 60’s will translate into strong rigidness, corrected by ultra soft touch.

Créateurs de la marque de luxe pour homme « Les Garçons », fondateurs du bureau de style « 2G2L Fashion Design & Consulting », directeurs artistiques du salon textile Texworld Paris et Présidents du collectif de jeunes créateurs de mode «Fre(n)sh Fashion Committee». Les Garçons continuent de broder leurs projets mais l’œuvre se porte déjà dans le monde entier. Lætitia Comettini Aérienne, poétique, ambitieuse, voici autant d’adjectifs qui pourraient qualifier la marque lancée par Lætitia Comettini, “L”, il y a 2 ans. Son parcours en tant que styliste pour des maisons de prestige : Jitrois, Paco Rabanne… témoigne de sa « poly-talentueusité. » Lætitia apporte un œil raffiné à la création des attitudes du printemps/été 2013 et démontre depuis deux saisons ses qualités dans l’art de la prospective tendance. Lætitia Comettini Pure, poetic, ambitious… That is how we would describe ”L”, the brand set up by Lætitia Comettini, 2 years ago. Her professionnal experience as a young stylist in prestigious fashion houses: Jitrois, Paco Rabanne… testifies of her ”multiple talents”. Lætitia brings a refined touch to the creation of the spring/summer 2013 attitudes and as shown for the past 2 seasons her qualities in the art of trend forecasting. Définition : un portrait est une œuvre picturale, sculpturale, photographique ou littéraire représentant une personne réelle ou fictive, d'un point de vue physique ou psychologique. Dans notre monde sur-imagé, l’auto-représentation portraitiste est devenue un nouveau genre. À force de surenchère empirique, notre relation « à Nous (même) » s’est brouillée, nous amenant même à ne plus être au présent, mais à être digitalement. La mélancolie du temps passé rattrape nos desseins aux bonheurs. Notre recherche d’équilibre cristallise ses questionnements sur les limites de nos expérimentations. Une prise de conscience authentique installe définitivement l’Éthique au cœur de notre introspection et ouvre la voix de cette période charnière. Éthique, Démarche citoyenne, Partage, Respect… autant d’attitudes qui sonnent comme la fin d’une ère égoïste. La culpabilité nous envahit, et assombrit l’optimisme des premières heures. Le repli vers des valeurs authentiques sonne comme la réponse à un meilleur avenir. Definition: A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person. In our over-imaged world, the auto-representation of a portrait has become a new genre. By an empirical over-bid, the relation “with Ourselves“ is scrambled, bringing us to no longer live in the present but digitally. The melancholy of past time catches up with our aim to happiness. Our search for balance crystallizes the questionings on the limits of our experimentations. An authentic consciousness definitely installs Ethic at the heart of our introspection and opens the road to this pivotal period. Ethic, Approach, Citizen, Share, Respect… attitudes that sound like the end of a selfish era. The guilt invades us and darkens the optimism of the beginning. The withdrawal towards authentic values sounds like the answer to a better future.

The traditional Denim blue (“Bleu de Nîmes”) will leave its place to an ocher and sol palette. Gaelic accents and soft fades award the baize unctuousness nearly sweet. The details in the cloth especially with the weave will complete this bucolic language. The acidulous humor of sweet touches awards an “adulescente” naivety.

Au préambule de notre nouvelle façon d’être, l’Imaginaire-souvenir de contes enfantins, grime notre faciès d’étranges singularités animales. L’apparition fantomatique de notre reflet nous projette aux frontières du réel. After the dark dusk, our new vision will follow the darkened splendors of Nature. The past’s mistakes; visible scars of an oppressing hand; the melancholic lyricism of Nature that implores, disrupts our apprehension towards her. At the preamble of our new way of being, the imaginary souvenir of children’s tales paints our faces with strange animal singularities. The ghostly apparition of our reflection projects us at the border of reality.

Brightness and reflected shades will be the leitmotif for the composition. The silky and satin aspects will bring forward the natural provenance of the fabric. The tough resistance will serve the ghostly feeling with lightness. From the artificial and the synthetics will emerge diaphanous chimeras and smoky feeling fabrics.
The foggy and light envelop of the chiffons, cloths, evanescent mesh and veil symbolically dissimulates the skin. The skin is back in the foreground with epidermal and skin touch aspects. The games of dermal fabric will accentuate with shades off skin colors. The shades of similar tones will develop the curiosity of hidden patterns. The skin aspect is declined in many ways: colt, elephant, coarse fur, soft fur, peach skin… the satins and crepes will hum a language between shadow and light. Caped in velvet and rigorous drapery, a scaled body astonishes us by its brightness.

Hybride de la peau, le denim devient derme. Une palette de chair rosée et d’accents de terre embrasse des toiles denim seconde peau. Les waxés, skin-touch, gommés, émerisés, vantent l’aspect satiné et précieux. Le nacré, perlé, iridescent s’épanouit en volute de fumée. L’esprit d’une chevauchée fantastique, à la manière d’une quête mystique, plane sur la serge.
Hybrid of the skin, the denim becomes dermis. A palette of pinkish skin colors and accents of earthly colors embraces the denim fabrics like a second skin. The polished, the skin-touched, the faded, glorify the satin and precious aspect. The iridescent pearl blossoms into a smoky volute. The spirit of a fantasy ride, like a mystical quest, hangs on the serge.

Le retour de bâton est toujours un peu douloureux… il faut bien, un jour, payer l’addition. Au déclin de notre existence, les doutes modernistes assaillent et ébranlent nos assurances passées. Et si justement, plutôt que de « surfacturer », nous capitalisions sur les acquis ? L’opulence matérialiste de l’âge d’or décoratif refait surface, et entame un véritable dialogue historique avec notre épure contemporaine. L’affection mémorable de temps plus sobres compose une marqueterie loufoque, presque confuse. L’intimité de souvenirs fait surface. Un sourire bienheureux illumine notre faciès. Les générations s’attirent à la manière de mosaïques dissonantes et orientalistes. We always pay the price one day. Jeux d’harmonies dissonantes et de géométries opposées, un langage graphique fort et marqué, fleuri d’allusions passées, all over et accessoires. Les laqués, vinyles et vernis viendront de façon touchante soutenir des satins mats. La couleur pleine est veloutée, les motifs sont précis et fanés. L’art décoratif cosmopolite des 50’s, 60’s & 70’s, sort des archives et inspire un nouveau dialecte chamarré. Les allusions au tailoring britannique sont nombreuses, une sorte de nouveau colonialisme orientaliste dans un répertoire Arte-povera. Les jacquards exaltent leur technicité.

Le travail historique de la filature sera mis en avant. Les mailles à grosses jauges et les naturels imparfaits côtoieront soies fibreuses et cotonnades rustiques. Crin, lin, chanvre, jute, ramie joueront leur carte douceur. Loin de déplaire, les synthétiques, façon crêpe et nylon à l’ancienne, feront leur retour. Le naturel leur sera préféré créant et appuyant l’authenticité.

“Assembling” reigns and announces the historical comeback. Game of dissonant harmony and opposed geometry. A strong and marked graphical language flourishes of past allusions and accessories. The polished, the vynils and varnished will come and support matified satins. The color is velveted, the patterns are precise and faded. Cosmopolitan art deco from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s breaks out of the archives and inspires a new ornamented dialect. The allusions to British tailoring are numerous, sort of new oriental colonialism in a repertoire Arte-povera. The jacquard exalts its technicality.
The historical work of the spinning will be put forward. The mesh with big gauge and the imperfect naturals will rub shoulders with fibrous silks and rustic cottons. Horsehair, linen, hemp, jute, ramie will play their softness card. The synthetics, similarly to crepe and nylon will do their big comeback. They will create authenticity with their natural looking aspect.

Les All-over aux teintes de Nîmes, toujours dans un esprit néo-classique à forte connotation historique, imprimeront la toile. Les esprits 60’s se traduiront par de fortes rigidités, corrigées de touchers ultra doux.
Straightforward tons with a reference to vintage will color the serge. The lacquered spreading, like an old Polaroid, will echo the satin icings. The Overall of denim tints, with a neo-classical feel of historical connotations, will print the fabric. The 60’s will translate into strong rigidness, corrected by ultra soft touch.

Louis Gérin & Grégory Lamaud Aujourd’hui, la pièce est belle. Pas finie, jamais finie. Comme un vêtement, un parcours s’écrit en continu. Créateurs de la marque de luxe pour homme « Les Garçons », fondateurs du bureau de style « 2G2L Fashion Design & Consulting », directeurs artistiques du salon textile Texworld Paris et Présidents du collectif de jeunes créateurs de mode «Fre(n)sh Fashion Committee». Les Garçons continuent de broder leurs projets mais l’œuvre se porte déjà dans le monde entier. Lætitia Comettini Aérienne, poétique, ambitieuse, voici autant d’adjectifs qui pourraient qualifier la marque lancée par Lætitia Comettini, “L”, il y a 2 ans. Son parcours en tant que styliste pour des maisons de prestige : Jitrois, Paco Rabanne… témoigne de sa « poly-talentueusité. » Lætitia apporte un œil raffiné à la création des attitudes du printemps/été 2013 et démontre depuis deux saisons ses qualités dans l’art de la prospective tendance. Héloïse Joneaux De Paris à Tokyo, Héloïse survole le monde en passant par les ateliers et studios de designers reconnus : Dior Martin Margiela - Stella McCartney - Atsuro Tayama avant de persévérer au sein de Marni, puis L’Eclaireur. Minimalisme et raffinement caractérisent cette jeune « artistic designer ». Marie-Alix Cazalaa Élevée dans la capitale anglaise, cette jeune Française traverse la Manche pour s’installer au cœur de Paris. Elle change de trajectoire professionnelle en se lançant dans une aventure plus fashion intégrant le bureau de style 2G2L. Avec un background dans l’univers cinématographique et créatif, elle apporte au monde de la mode une vision artistique originale et surprenante.

Lætitia Comettini Pure, poetic, ambitious… That is how we would describe ”L”, the brand set up by Lætitia Comettini, 2 years ago. Her professionnal experience as a young stylist in prestigious fashion houses: Jitrois, Paco Rabanne… testifies of her ”multiple talents”. Lætitia brings a refined touch to the creation of the spring/summer 2013 attitudes and as shown for the past 2 seasons her qualities in the art of trend forecasting. Héloïse Joneaux From Paris to Tokyo, Héloïse travels the world leaving behind her great experiences in workshops and studios in renowned designer houses : Dior - Martin Margiela Stella McCartney - Atsuro Tayama - then joining Marni and L’Eclaireur in Paris.Minimalism and delicacy caracterizes this young artistic designer. Marie-Alix Cazalaa French native, Marie-Alix grew up in London, England, she crossed the Channel to settle down in her hometown Paris. She changes her professional career by embarking on a fashion adventure and incorporating the fashion bureau 2G2L. Her cinematographic background makes her no stranger to the international art scene. She brings to the fashion world an original and surprising artistic vision.
