Do you buy things just because its a famous label or brand? Would you buy that dress for that much money? For celebrities and millionaires, that might not sound like much but for us middle-class shoppers, just for a hideous dress, that's a lot! Karl Lagerfeld said that he views models as blocks of wood on which he hangs his creations. The most "in-demand" models follow strict diets and exercise to stay within their range. You see the more outlandish designs, those are more like art creations, just to show off the designer's skills and creativity. After they show those, they usually go to the more "normal" clothes for the season's ready-to-wear lines
