Trauma, Chemical Use and Addiction
Will be presented on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

The latest research highlights the relationship between chemical use, addiction and trauma. This presentation will review events involved with trauma exposure, trauma specific symptomology, the impact trauma has on the brain and on coping and subsequent substance use, and how to aid individuals struggling with trauma and addiction.
Free and open to anyone interested in attending!
The program will be held at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Education Center, in the auditorium (ground floor) at 5305 Elliott Drive, Ypsilanti, Michigan. (Park in parking area “P”) FREE admission.
