Water is the lord of God and when God change his lord in torment then no one can do anything. We should don’t go more away, lets talk about the recent devastating flood in Pakistan. The recent devastating flood in Pakistan had destroyed more than half of the economy of the country. The country which was already facing several other crises including terrorism, poverty, corruption, illiteracy has now hit by another challenge in the form of flood. At this crucial time ,the world has pledge to help Pakistan in any form .

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Pakistan to boost relief efforts as concerns grew about the 20 million people made homeless in one of the worst disasters to hit the country. Recent flood in Pakistan affected me in two ways. First, it made me realize how tragic the situation can be after a natural disaster has taken place; specially, a flooding, which isn’t common where I live. Second, it gave me a wider perspective of how human beings struggle for their lives in difficult moments. The flooding in Pakistan took many lives away and it was a devastating catastrophe that affected most of the country territory and that no one was expecting. The news story was broadcasted on CNN for several days. Many people were killed by the flooding waters and others lost their homes and belongings. It was a really sad tragedy and the people couldn’t do anything to stop it. When I saw the people who are homeless now, it made me realize how lucky I am, because I have a place where I can sleep at night, a warm and comfortable home. It also let me know, that your life can change suddenly at any moment. The flood water destroyed almost all communication routes, particularly, the bridges. Even the ones that were made of concrete and steel were swept away by the strong flood waters. The people, who survived, were desperate to go home, but they couldn’t. Even worst, they didn’t have any clean water to drink, because the water of the rivers wasn’t drinkable. Fortunately, other countries came to help and brought supplies for the flood victims. Most of the time, they had to cross the river, but there were places where there was no boat. Interestingly, some locals had managed to build rafts, which were called “jalas”. These rafts were made of tire tubes and bamboo sticks. It wondered me how human beings are capable of being so creative in moments of despair. When people are having a bad time, it’s when they struggle harder and try to find a way to overcome the difficulties. People are hesitating to give funds to Government because of the corruption allegations against government as it was also seen at the time of Earth Quake disaster five years back.
