LEGOLAND Malaysia is seeking a Food and Beverage Director for its exciting new project in Johor. This full time position is the top person responsible for the food and beverage operation for the first branded theme park in Malaysia. Food and Beverage Director (Johor Bahru) Responsibilities: • In conjunction with the Merlin Group F&B team, responsible for the set up and operation of the food and beverage division of the park. • Determines the organizational structure, budgeting and staffing requirements for the division. • Establishes sources for buying foods, beverages and restaurant supplies through suppliers and distributors. • Develops and maintains key business relationships to procure high quality food products, beverages and restaurant supplies at the lowest possible cost. • Inspects food service facilities to ensure that equipment and buildings meet requirements of local health laws and internal regulations. • Establishes procedures and training for inventory management, customer service, restaurant/stand/cart operations, and cash management. Develops loss prevention procedures to minimize waste and protect assets. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: • Requires at least 8 years of progressive experience in the F&B industry in a theme park, resort, attractions/hospitality or similar industry. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. • Requires demonstrated success in budgeting and scheduling, operations and cash management. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required. • Experience working in a Halal certified environment is a plus.
