The amount of gold to fulfill all of U.S. national debt would amount to over 15 more feet (squared) of all of the gold ever mined in history. From 2003 to present day, the price of gold has soared, increasing from around $300.00 per ounce to around $1600.00. Yet much of America is oblivious to gold's past history.

Gold

From 2003 to present day, the price of gold has soared, increasing from around $300.00 per ounce to around $1600.00. Yet much of America is oblivious to gold's past history. In short, it is a line to measure the evaluation or devaluation of paper currency. It's also used for disaster insurance, in case failing economies. The Bible warns about failing economies and disasters brought about by governments, so things will in the long term take a down turn (Matthew 24). However, one day even gold and silver will not by food, as a famine will be found in that day. Ezekiel wrote about people casting their precious metals (or gold and silver) to ground, as they could not produce food with it. That means one day that food (the original commodity) will be the most precious source of all. Food for thought. Though gold and silver are a viable financial investments, the future farmers in the end will rule the day.

The amount of all of the gold in the United States if measured in a square manner would have a twenty-four (24) feet in height. Or a little over 8,000 metric tons. One metric ton is equal to 2,204.6 pounds. One ton is worth around sixty-one (61) million dollars.

The amount of all of the gold ever mined is approximately sixty-six (66) feet tall, if squared. It's approximately 171,300 metric tons.

The amount of gold needed to pay America's debt would need to be eightyone (81) feet high.

The amount of gold required to cover all of America's retirement liabilities is (one hundred and thirty-two) 132 feet large.

The amount of gold required to cover all of the nations or global debt would have to be about (one hundred and eighty-one) 181 feet.

The Lord Jesus said:

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (Luke 21:25-27). The Lord Jesus describes the serious state of distress into which the world will decline as “perplexity” (Greek aporia). In the original language this is a very explicit term which the Strong’s Concordance translates as “a state of quandary”, and also as “perplexity; to have no way out; to be at a loss mentally.” The Amplified Bible explains the meaning of the word as: “Without resources, left wanting (nothing can be done),

embarrassed, in doubt, not knowing which way to turn”. Profs. Walvoord & Zuck (The Bible Knowledge Commentary, p. 257) comment as follows on Luke 21:25: “The world will be in a chaotic state, out of control.”
