The Graduate Program is specifically designed for engineering teams and delivered within an engineering context. It is delivered over two years and contains a number of unique elements including:



A management overview session for managers, HR managers and supervisors of graduate to ensure they are fully informed about the objectives of the program.
The Business Improvement Project ensures that graduates integrate all they have learned throughout the program with a project that gets them thinking about the business.



Mentoring half-day workshop for the mentors of graduates to provide tools and techniques for effective mentoring along with providing clear guidance on the difference to supervision or coaching. There is also a half day workshop for mentees to enable them to gain the most from this important relationship. Assignment of pre-work for many of the workshop sessions that requires graduates to come prepared so that the maximum can be extracted from the time with our expert facilitators. Expert facilitators experienced at working with engineering teams including a lead facilitator who works with the group at regular intervals across the two years. Reporting for organisations on how the cohort is embracing the program and their interaction with online resources.

Focuses on the “role of the engineer” both within and external to their organisation, as well as the commitment required of them to achieve their goals within the context of the program.

Ethical Decision Making
An online resource involving case studies, scenarios and forums that covers the Engineers Australia Code of Ethics.

Business Acumen Mentoring for Graduates
Explains the relationship between mentor and mentee and how to get the best out of being mentored. It covers the two-way commitment required from the parties to ensure a sustained and beneficial relationship. Cuts through the financial jargon to provide unique models for understanding how non financial variables impact upon financial performance. It also provides insights into the financial dynamics of the business and the productivity-quality-profit link.

Understanding Self & Others
Explores individual differences in the workplace, social awareness, self awareness and cultural diversity to develop understanding that people are different. Enhance their skills on how to work with the different personality types. Learning on how to accept and utilise the unique talents of each team member.

Harvard Manage Mentor from the renowned Harvard Business Publishing is an important element of the Engineering graduate program with 2-year access for the graduates and 1-year access for their mentors. It is an online learning and performance support resource that delivers critical management skills where and when it is needed. Featuring expert advice from world renowned business leaders and using audio downloads, video clips, interactive activities and other practical tools, learners have access to information they can use immediately to address the issues they face that day.
