College
Library

East
Asian
Library
(EAL)

added
to
my
portfolio.
In
this
role
I
guide
the
enterprise-‐wide
teaching
and
learning
services.
I
am
responsible
for
collections
and
programing
in
the
College
Library
as
well
as
the
East
Asian
Library.
In
2014
the
Data
Archive
was
added
to
my
portfolio.
The
Data
Archive
is
an
internationally
recognized
facility,
known
for
its
commitment
to
the
“gold
standard”
of
data
management.
Current
services,
include,
data
management
in
research,
data
protection,
data
preparation
for
long-‐term
usability,
instructional
support,
and
large
research
project
support.
As
the
primary
technology
architect
and
planner
for
the
Library,
I
use
my
knowledge
of
current
and
emerging
information
technologies,
protocols,
and
concepts
to
keep
core
application
systems
effective,
evolving
and
nimble;
with
the
goals
of
taking
advantage
of
innovative
technical
opportunities;
to
inform
the
Library
management
and
staff
of
new
technology
options;
to
set
strategic
technology
infrastructure
directions
and
to
ensure
that

Library
maintains

reliable,
