GREY HAIR RECIPE 1: Usiri powder (Gooseberry) : 100 gm Black Sesame (Nalla nuvvulu): 100 gm Dry the above constituents, fry and make powder Guntagalagara aaku : 100 gm (dried) Candy sugar powder : 100 gm Usage: Mix all the above constituents. Take 1/4th to ½ spoon daily. Children can take with milk and candy sugar powder. Benefits: Teeth will strengthen, all parts of body will be rejuvenated, dhaatu strength increases, hair turns black within 3 to 4 months. RECIPE 2: Soak dry usirika powder overnight. Make paste to consistency and apply tohair. Wait for half an hour and take bath. Hair will blacken. RECIPE 3: Soak a handful of dry or fresh gooseberry (usirika) overnight. Remove water and fry the pieces lightly in cow’s ghee. Take them with food or even directly two to three times in a day. Benefits: Mouth, teeth will strengthen, juice when chewn will enter blood, gives strength to all body parts, enters head improves memory and hair blackens. RECIPE 4: Make powder of karakkaya, Taanikaaya and Usirikaaya 100 gm each (only bark or top part) and sieve it in a fine cloth. Add milk to 1 or 2 spoons powder in a china bowl and make paste to consistency. Apply paste to hair and wait for one hour before bath. Do not use shampoo. For Kapha Prakruti people apply in the afternoon and take bath. Then expose hair to Saambraani smoke. RECIPE 5: Soak 5 pieces each of Karakaaya, Taanikaaya, and Usirikaaya overnight and filter the contents. The water can be applied to hair and sprinkled on face and eyes. Gargle with the above water. Benefits: Hair will turn black within 4 to 6 months, teeth will strengthen, mouth gets refreshed, eyes problems will be eliminated and face will become clean. RECIPE 6: Ends of banyan tree roots (marri chettu oodalu): 200 gm. Wash, dry and crush to pieces. Guntagalagara aaku : 200 gm. Sesame oil (Nuvvula noone) : 200 gm.

Soak banyan tree roots in water and extract juice. Prepare juice from guntaglagara aaku without adding water – without adding water. Boil both juices along with oil on SIM flame til oil remains. Maruva/davanam can be added before removing from stove. Cool it and store in bottle. Benefits: Grey hair formed due to Vaata, Pitta and Kapha doshas will blacken. RECIPE 7 : YOGASANAS for Grey Hair problem: i) Sarvaangasanam ii) Seershasanam iii) Matsyasanam RECIPE 8: Hair oil for Grey Hair: Fresh juice of goose berry: 1lt (Usiri rasamu) Sesame oil : ½ lt. (Nuvvula noone) Boil both till oil remains and store in a bottle. Apply to hair and massage at least twice in a week during nights and take head bath in the morning. RECIPE 9 : Bodataram oil or Gorakhnath oil for GREY HAIR Bodataram flowers : 300 gm Soak them in ½ litre water and crush with hand to make paste. Add 1/4th litre sesame oil. Boil till 1/4th litre liquid is obtained. Sieve the oil and store in a bottle. Usage : Apply 2 to 3 drops with dropper bottle in nose. One spoon can be swallowed - 2 times a day. Give gap of one hour before food. Avoid ice cream and ice water. Tamarind should be avoided. Alternately tomato/aamchur/usirika can be used. Do not take food outside during this treatment. RECIPE 10 : TIPS for preventing grey hair: i) Prepare laddus using Nuvvulu, old jaggery and dry coconut. Take one laddu daily. ii) Apply one or two drops of neem oil in nose daily. iii) Apply water of soaked gooseberry (soaked overnight) to hair and can be orally taken also. Massage hair gently with the liquid and take bath. iv) Use naatu cow’s milk and naatu cow’s ghee in food. v) Rub finger nails for ten to fifteen minutes daily in the morning and evening to remove excess heat in body and automatically grey hair blackens.
