Hello This is my imagination talking Yes How are u imagination KOLOONAAA LEL WATAN How imaginative And now Speaking of Imagination We present to you The least imaginative of all: Biology! The three steps of cellular respiration are glycolysis, the kreb’s cycle and finally, the etc reaction. The glycolysis occurs in the cytoplasm and results in the formation of 2 pyruvates. This occurs conversion of glucose with the help of ATP, an energy molecule, into a glucose phosphate, and by the splitting (called lysis) of this compound into two 3-carbon sugar phosphates. These then undergo multiple reactions (which form 2 NADH molecules and 4 ATP molecules), and finally 2 pyruvates are formed. The net products of this reaction are 2 ATP molecules and 2 NADH molecules. If oxygen is available, the pyruvates will move into the mitochondria (in the case of eukaryotes that do in fact possess a mitochondrion). If oxygen is NOT available, then the organism (depending on it’s nature) will wither go into lactic or alcoholic fermentation. Fermentation is a wasteful process, as only 2 ATP of the 36 ATP in glucose are harvested. However, it recycles NADH and recycles them into NAD+, so that glycolysis can continue, sustaining the cell until oxygen is present in the environment again. Some organisms can live with fermentation alone (like tetanus bacteria).
