High School vs College

Even though high school and college are both institutions of learning and we can learn a lot in both of them. But they also have the differences , such as the social atmospheres , homework , test , cost , etc. In the social atmosphere , high school usually have smaller area . for the most part, well acquainted with each other. In addition, students in high school have same schedule time, thus helping them to know one another better. On the college scene people are constantly coming and going, therefore rarely seeing the same person twice in a day, which accounts for fewer people being acquainted with each other. In high school the amount of homework is less than college . In high school, homework is required to help motivate students to study. In college most homework consists of studying; very little of it is written and turned in. For the test , in high school you will find more tests. Usually , there is a test for a week or two . Although in collage there are more tests too , but the work is not hard . Most of the time you will read aloud in class or go over every point of homework . in high school the cover of materials in test are smaller than college. Another differences are the cost , in high school usually free ( for example in Musi Banyuasin , sumatera selatan ) , but in collage you have to pay every semester . and in high school usually you will get the intruction to borrow the books in library , so you don’t have to buy a lot of book , and also you will get all of the material from the teacher . but in collage , you have to find your book individually , or in other word , you have to buy it to get more information for your subject . so that is why college is more expensive than high school . The differences between high school and collage are also can you see from the teacher in high school and the lecturer in collage . the teacher have a higher level of concern than the lecturer with their student . Teachers check your

completed homework , Teachers remind you of your incomplete work, Teachers present material to help you understand the material in the textbook, Teachers often write information on the board to be copied in your notes. But lecturer may not always check completed homework, but they will assume you can perform the same tasks on tests, lecuterer may not remind you of incomplete work, lecturer may not follow the textbook. Instead, to amplify the text, they may give illustrations, provide background information, or discuss research about the topic you are studying, lecturer expecting you to identify the important points in your notes, when professors write on the board, it may be to amplify the lecture, not to summarize it. In spite of these differences between high school and college, they both serve the same purpose, that is to prepare an individual for the real world.
