8. Will I be guaranteed that my room will have the bed type, view or location I requested?
When making a reservation online, you can select either a bed type specific room (such as City View 1 King Bed) or a non-bed type specific room (such as Hyatt Guestroom). Choices vary depending on availability. After selecting a non-bed type specific room, you will be able to request a particular bed type. You will also be able to note your smoking preference, type in comments and make additional requests, such as asking for a crib or rollaway bed. Hyatt is committed to accommodating room type preferences and requests. Occasionally, we receive more requests than are available at a particular hotel or resort. If this happens, every effort will be made to meet your room preferences. 10. Does Hyatt guarantee my reservation bed type preference?
This benefit is reserved for Hyatt Gold Passport® Platinum and Diamond members only and is available at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts® worldwide, Hyatt Place and HYATT house.Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum and Diamond members will be guaranteed the bed type (i.e. king, queen, double etc.) for the room type selected at the time of reservation. If the hotel is unable to honor the bed type at check-in, members will receive 5000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points and their room will be changed the next day for the requested bed type. The bed type guarantee does not apply to room upgrades. In order to qualify for the guarantee, the member's Hyatt Gold Passport number, and bed type preference must be included on the reservation. Generally, the minimum age to reserve a guestroom at Hyatt is 21 years old. However, this age may vary by hotel. Please check the specific policy of the hotel you plan to visit. 13. Can I pay for another guest's room (a friend, family member or co-worker, etc.) with my credit card?
Yes, you may pay for another guest's room with your credit card. Simply complete theHyatt Credit Card Authorization Form, sign it and fax it to the hotel. 14. What is a third-party credit card authorization?
Credit card authorization forms are used if the guest holding the reservation is not paying for the room. For a third-party individual to pay for a room, he or she must complete theHyatt Credit Card Authorization Form, sign it and fax it to the hotel. Back to top

15. Do I need to send a credit card authorization form for multiple rooms at the same hotel that are being billed to the same credit card?

16. Why aren't HYATT house and Hyatt Place hotels listed in the drop-down menu on the form?

17. Why am I getting an error message that tells me I can't save the form to my computer?

19. What type of identification must guests present at check-in if a third party is paying for the guest room?

21. How will I know if the hotel received my authorization form?

1. Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?
Upon clicking "Confirm Reservation," the booking process is complete. A confirmation number will immediately display on the screen and an email confirmation will be sent to the address you provided within 30 minutes of making your reservation.

2. How can I review and/or modify my reservation before it has been submitted?
At any time before submitting your reservation, you can select "Change Details" within the "Reservation Summary" section on the right side of the page.

3. How can I review and/or modify my reservation after it has been made?
You may review or modify your reservation online using your first name, last name, and reservation confirmation number or credit card number. Your details will be sent securely. Some reservations may not be retrievable online. If you have problems retrieving your reservation, please contact us.

PROFILE AND PASSWORDS
1. Do I need to set up an account or travel profile?
You do not have to set up an account or profile to make online reservations or browseHyatt.com. However, logging in with a Gold Passport account will simplify and speed-up the reservation process by automatically populating the reservation form as you make a reservation. It will also allow us to provide easy access to information that reflects your travel interests. Join Hyatt Gold Passport now.

2. If I am a Hyatt Gold Passport member, do I need to create another account on Hyatt.com?
No. Simply sign in with your Gold Passport account number or username and your password.

3. I forgot my password. What should I do?

NEW DELHI: As corporate houses seek to be prepared to tackle emergencies, many firms such as DLF Golf Resorts and Hyatt Regency are turning to specialist companies to train their employees on life-saving techniques and raising their awareness level. "In large-operation based organisation, it becomes imperative that we do have employees who possess the basic knowledge on firstaid procedures," Hyatt Regency Training Manager Raghav Yadav said. He said a majority of the staff at Hyatt Regency have been given professional training to handle any sort of emergency and provide basic first-aid to guests or fellow employees should a need arise. Expressing similar views, DLF Golf Resorts Ltd Director Aakash Ohri said: "Such kind of training is important to handle any emergencies at work so as to make it a safer place. It helps one be prepared in any kind of situations." Commenting on the growing trend of more and more corporates opting for such training for their staff, Vivo Healthcare Managing Director Shakti Singh said: "We train everyone from CEOs to security guards...but health and safety is in its infancy in the country but now firmly beginning to take root." I had been to Delhi for corporate meetings and landed up booking my hotel as Hyatt....Excellent Hospitality, food, amenities at very reasonable rates. But just one thing is the rooms are little small compared to other Hotels ...as usual they have used too many mirroring techniques to make the room look big :)
