Building and Leading High Performance Teams
In today's fast-paced business environment, successful teamwork is crucial for long-term survival. If not led well, the team as a whole can drag individual performance down and result in significant outcome and process loss. Research has shown that when team leadership improves, the teams themselves grow and perform better, the members are more satisfied with their roles, and the organisation’s stakeholders are more satisfied with the outcomes. Leading High Performance Teams is an action-oriented workshop for leaders, executives and managers who are committed to improving their leadership skills and helping their organizations build powerful, successful teams. This practical, thought-provoking and challenging workshop combines theory with a research-driven model and experimental learning to address specific issues and introduce more effective team-leading behaviors.

Workshop B : 01:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Facilitator : Dr. Christina Augustine, Head- Learning and Development, Aircel Ltd
Christina has a Phd with 10 years of experience in learning, development of human resources, counseling, psychometric assessment and research. Her core competencies are to conceive, develop, deliver and evaluate strategic learning and development initiatives for the internal and external customers of AIRCEL limited. Certified as completed NGM@Maxis, steered by Harvard Business School and IBM Global business services, Maxis Telecom, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2008.

Employee Engagement
Impact the organisation's human capital results and bottom line performance. An organization's capacity to manage employee engagement is closely related to its ability to achieve high performance levels and superior business results. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to do the following: • • • • Describe the underlying concepts impacting employee engagement and retention. Outline what is “most critical” to engage and retain each individual employee. Assess the current performance of the organisation, a team, or an individual employee on the critical talent variables. Understand why people disengage and leave organisations to determine the length of service intentions.

The workshop is designed to directly impact employee engagement, performance and retention. All participants will be equipped with pragmatic talent solutions that they can immediately implement into their work environment in order to impact the organisation’s human capital results and bottom line performance.
