OBJECTIVE
The technology is growing in a rapid manner. As the technology is growing security is more important. The technology and the security moves hand in hand with each other. In light of that aspect we developed a project called “Human Face Identification”. The core objective of this project is to implement and intensify a tighten security system. ur project called “Human Face Identification” can be implemented as a best security system device. In small scale commerce field such as in schools! colleges it can be used as an attendance system. As and when the student"s face is identified e#actly as an authori$ed student he can enter into the laboratory otherwise if the student does not belong to that school or college and his permission is denied. In medium scale business such as in an organi$ation it can be used as an attendance register of an employee. In large scale business such as in airport! railway stations etc it can be used to identify criminals. Thus our project suits for all business and modern technological world. Also the end%result is achieved accurately and in a precise manner. Thus in short “ Human Face Identification” is a biometric system which helps in identifying the culprits and it can also be used in schools! colleges and other organi$ations as attendance register system.

PROBLEM DEFINITION

'o the need of this hour is to implement a good security system which provides hi%fi security. In light of all these aspects we implemented this “Human Face Identification”

which acts as a good security system. This project is an e#tract of a research paper of I+++ transaction. ,e are implementing this project using biometrician system which itself is called as the master of security systems. ,e hope that this project acts as a good security system.

NEED FOR THE PROJECT
'ecurity is more important for the entire cosmos. rgani$ations play a vital role in developing the system such that it provides greater security to a layman also. Today bomb hoa# is ta)ing place everywhere. To identify the criminals and terrorists we can implement this project in public hospitals! airports and other important public terminals. The need of the hour in this decade is to protect the public from criminal threatening. 'o our project helps in detecting the criminals to a certain e#tent. ur project can also be used in schools and colleges. -onsider that a classroom contains hundred and twenty students. -alling the names of all these students and ta)ing attendance! results in meager time waste. ,hen we implement this system only the authori$ed student can enter the class room and the attendance is automatically mar)ed as and when the student enters inside the classroom. These are some of the facilities provided by our project. All the above mentioned hints e#plain the necessity of our project.

EXISTING S STEM !ND ITS LIMIT!TIONS
In the early (./0s and (.10s big organi$ations and others used watchman for security purpose. 2uring that period this type of security system is more prevalent. 3ut this type of manual security system has lot of disadvantages. 'ecurity can be easily violated by giving bribes or by false identification. As a result many software systems were developed. The performance of the software developed so far is not so accurate in face identification. The operational speed of the e#isting system is very low. +ven the e#isting system has the problem of uncontrolled bac)ground. The e#isting system cannot

identify persons wearing hats etc. The s)in area was not properly e#tracted in the e#isting system. The solutions of the e#isting system suffer either from the poor 4uality of algorithms used or from the lac) of the compact solutions. These are the major limitations and drawbac)s of the e#isting systems.

The major need for re4uirements specification is that it acts as an interface between clients and the technical person who is going to develop the project. The re4uirement specification may be different for each project and the levels of re4uirement are also different for each and every project. 'ome important levels in re4uirements specification are specified below. %"&"'" $(e) )e*ui)ement(+ The user re4uirements for a system should describe the functional and the non% functional re4uirements so that they are understandable by system users who do not have detailed technical )nowledge. The user re4uirements must be written using natural language! forms and simple intuitive diagrams. In our project we are providing the detailed user re4uirements in a simple natural language such that it is understandable to all )ind of users who are not having enough technical )nowledge" %"&"%" S,(tem Re*ui)ement(+ 'ystem re4uirements set out the system services and constraints in detail. The system re4uirements document! which is sometimes called a functional speciation! should be precise. It may serve as a contrast between the system buyer and the software developer. 'ystem re4uirements specify the functionalities of the project to be developed. In our project the service or utility provided is enormous. The organi$ation can use the project according to their necessity such as attendance system or as a security system.
