I have learned to “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have”.
Though quoted from Hebrews in the Bible, which some would reject unequivocally, there is a
certain truth which transcends any one religious philosophy. This does not mean cease striving
to accomplish all that one is capable of, but rather do not become enslaved by the arbitrary
expectations you may set. As arbitrary these may be unrealistic and unattainable, often, you
will never know until you try. The point being do your best and accept your limitations, or even
possibly settle for what can make you happy without over concern for what you cannot
achieve. When striving should end is an individual decision, no one can make it for you, though
some may be able to help you in your contentment. That is the one worth sharing a life with.
