Essential D)ties and Responsibilities:
State Field Operation Manager leads a team of engineers/contractors in the operations and maintenance of IHS network
in the assigned state, in order to meet the goals and objectives of IHS, and ensuring IHSs !ualit" and service
commitment to customers are met# $o manage resources in the state, to act as primar" interface with IHS management
for technical/engineering responsibilit" and authorit" within the state#
• %nderstand and communicate stakeholder re!uirements to appropriate team members, and manage all
re!uirements accordingl"
• &stablish clear ownership for O'M tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timel"
feedback#
• (lan and monitor the da")to)da" activities of engineers and contractors in the state
• %nderstand national project plans and ensure proper implementation at state level#
• &nsure timel" review and approval of acceptance, testing, integration and cutover documentation related to state
operations
• &nsure that a routine program is in place and monitor the performance of routines in the assigned state
• &nsure performance of sites integration and acceptance tests in the assigned state#
• &nsure prompt availabilit" of information on inventor" of sites within the assigned state#
• *eview and recommend operation and maintenance procedures for state operations
• &nsure that the processes and procedures are followed through in all activities within the assigned state#
• (repare estimates annual budgetar" needs +O(&,- for assigned state#
• .oordinate and facilitate deliver" of O'M objectives#
• $rack progress and review O'M tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriatel"#

meetings#

Ed)cation and$or or! E,perience Re-)irements:
• =achelors degree, preferabl" in a science or telecommunications discipline, or a minimum of five "ears of
progressive e3perience in a related field
• Four to si3 "ears e3perience in project management, and/or related functional areas in a communication s"stems
companies
• Highl" developed working knowledge of business process, including tender and sales
• Strong financial knowledge/training
• &3cellent verbal and written communication skills, including abilit" to effectivel" communicate with internal and
e3ternal customers
