Integrity Florida Announces 2013-2014 Board of DirectorsContact: Dan Krassner, 850.321.0432, [email protected], www.integrityflorida.orgWe are proud to announce the 2013-2014 Integrity Florida Board of Directors:Bonnie Greenball Silvestri, J.D.Bonnie served as the first executive director of the Judicial Campaign Ethics Center of the New York State Unified Court System, which provides ethics advice to judicial candidates and develops the Judicial Voters Guide. She was also special counsel to the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board, where she provided legal advice to public officials and employees, enforced violations of the conflicts of interest law and taught continuing legal education courses. Bonnie is presently Senior Fellow for Arts, Culture, and Civic Engagement at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee.Carla Miller, Esq.Carla is the founder of City Ethics, a former federal prosecutor and she serves as the city of Jacksonville's Director of Ethics Compliance and Oversight. She was recently named a Network Fellow of the Safra Ethics Center at Harvard University. City Ethics is a non-profit organization devoted to the establishment and improvement of government ethics programs across the United States, Europe and Australia.Irene GuyIrene is a retired Verizon executive, a lifelong Tampa resident, corporate leader, community volunteer and mother. In her most recent role, she worked with local and state government leaders, supported economic development and managed a portion of the company's philanthropic budget. Irene also serves as a U.S. Senate appointee to the Military Academies Board that is responsible for selecting annual military academy appointees. Marilynn WillsMarilynn is a past president of the League of Women Voters of Florida. She has held various leadership positions on the League Board of Directors for many years and has been at the helm of the League Lobby Corps as Action Chair. Marilynn is a former teacher of high school mathematics and coached boys' and girls' cross country teams. Martin H. Rogol, Esq.Marty is a principal and co-founder of Next Horizon Communications, a full service, integrated public relations, marketing and communications agency. Prior to Next Horizon, he founded Marketing Concepts, Inc., also based in West Palm Beach, FL. Marty led some of the world's most legendary campaigns as the founding executive director of USA for Africa, which produced the international anthem "We Are the World" and then mobilized over 7 million people for its "Hands Across America" project. These projects raised $100 million. Marty was an instrumental leader in the successful 2010 Palm Beach County ethics reform initiative. Michael J. Dema, Esq. Mike is the Assistant City Attorney for the City of St. Petersburg and one of the founders of Integrity Florida. Prior to joining the City, he was in private practice. Mike has a master's degree in environment studies from Brown University and, before entering law school, he worked as an environmental consultant. Integrity Florida is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research institute and government watchdog whose mission is to promote integrity in government and expose public corruption. ###
