Note:
The class size at most schools is not fixed and varies from year to year. Median values have been taken for GMAT score and work-experience as median values are a better indicator of statistics than average values. For example, if the Median GMAT score at INSEAD is 706, this means that 50% of the students in that batch have a GMAT score of above 706 and the other 50% have a GMAT score of below 706. Having said that, we observed that there’s not much difference between the median and the average values for the GMAT score and workexperience at most schools in our list. The rank of a particular school in the tables below is its rank among the non-US MBA programs. For example, the actual rank of INSEAD according to Financial Times 2010 rank is 5; however its rank, if the US MBA programs are excluded, is 2. The average salaries at schools depend a lot on the regions that the schools are located in and the regions their graduates take jobs in, so it is imperative that while comparing a program in Asia to one in Europe, one should consider the cost of living in the respective continents instead of just relying on absolute numbers. The programs listed for IIMs, S P Jain and XLRI in the list below are one year executive MBA programs and not their flagship two year MBA programs. These programs have been included in our list because the entry requirement for these programs is 5 years of work-experience. The MBA programs at Schulich and Melbourne Business School can be completed in either 16 or 20 months. The tuition for the same varies accordingly.
