CS 2001 Internet Technologies
This unit consists of two sections:
Network Technologies, and Internet Programming

There is 1 written examination at end of 1 semester. There is 1 assignment (in class - MCQ type with minus marks) There is 1 Group Project ( on Internet Programming): 6 student per group Grouping done based on the alphabetical order of the student names. Project Outputs: Outputs: Web Application, Project Report (less than 5 pages), Individual Report (1 page) Demonstration: At Science Faculty Computer Lab, 10 minutes for Demonstration: presentation, 5 minutes for Q&A

The lectures are held at KG Hall For Physical Students and Bio Students There are 2 lectures per week. Network Technologies :Wednesday 99-10 for Bio students and 1010-11 for Physical Students, Internet Programming :Friday 99-10 for Bio students and 1010-11 for Physical Student

Ground Rules Only one person can speak at one time! Anyone can interrupt the lecture at anytime for asking a relevant question! Ways of asking questions (1)Raise hand and ask (2)Write down on a piece of paper and pass, (3) by email (suggestion: once evryone has created an email account for themselves, somebody can setup a email group for the batch eg. Yahoo group) Format of the Lectures Usually handouts/notes and reference suggestions for a lecture will be given at the end of the previous lecture. The students are expected to come prepared, Most of the learning takes places outside the lecture hall The lecture sessions are for discussion, The lecturers are for facilitating learning (not teaching) Discussion of what we are to learn
