BAIN & COMPANY INTERNSHIP PRESENTATION
Bain & Company is having an Internship Presentation on Tuesday November 8, 2011 from 7:00PM- 8:30PM at the Davidson Center, Embassy Room. If you're a junior interested in consulting, the search for summer internships begins now. A good place to start looking is Bain & Company, a global business consulting firm with offices in all major cities. They help management make the big decisions on strategy, operations, mergers & acquisitions, technology and organization. Obama For America– Campaign Internship Our spring internship is an opportunity for your students and graduates to gain hands-on experience with a United States presidential campaign and strengthen their skills as future leaders.

Spring interns with Obama For America will learn firsthand about the grassroots efforts that drive our campaign and how what we do here at headquarters facilitates our actions in the states. FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
• Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program – 2012 Graduate Fellowships

The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program is now accepting applications for its 2012 graduate fellowships. The Rangel Program seeks applicants who are interested in promoting positive change in the world as Foreign Service Officers for the U.S. Department of State. The fellowship is open to undergraduate seniors and graduates who want to begin two-year master’s programs in the fall of 2012. In March 2012, the program will select twenty Rangel Fellows who will receive up to $90,000 in benefits over two years to fund tuition, mandatory fees, and living expenses for completion of two-year master’s degrees. These benefits include two summer internships, one on Capitol Hill and one overseas at a U.S. embassy, in additional to professional development activities and mentoring. Awardees may use the fellowship to fund graduate studies of international affairs or a related subject such as public administration, business administration or public policy at U.S. universities. Those who successfully complete the program will receive appointments as Foreign Service Officers upon graduation, embarking on one of the most exciting and rewarding careers. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship, plans to enter graduate school in fall 2012, and a minimum 3.2 GPA. The program encourages the application of members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need. The application deadline is January 20, 2012. Humanity In Action – 2012 HIA Fellowship

Humanity in Action (HIA) is accepting applications for our 2012 Fellowship Programs in Europe from talented college students and recent college graduates. HIA invites applications from college students and recent graduates who are intellectually gifted, mature, independent and passionate about human rights. Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors and graduates from the classes of 2010 and 2011 are eligible to apply. The HIA Fellowship brings together international groups of Fellows to study minority rights and produce research exploring how and why individuals and societies, past and present, have resisted intolerance and protected democratic values. Separate programs will take place for five weeks in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Lyon, and Warsaw. Intensive and demanding, the HIA Fellowship features daily lectures and discussions with renowned academics, journalists, politicians, and activists, as well as site visits to government agencies, non-profit organizations, museums and memorials. Participation requires a great deal of intellectual curiosity and stamina, as well as the ability to work effectively in international teams. After the program, Fellows participate in the global alumni network of HIA Senior Fellows and can take advantage of special professional fellowship opportunities such as internship programs in the U.S. Congress and European Parliament. United States Department of Defense- SMART Scholarship Program The application for the Summer 2012 Department of State Internship Program has been extended to November 7th. Interested qualified students are encouraged to submit their application by the

new deadline of Monday, November 7th. Individuals who have already submitted an application will be able to update, edit, and resubmit their application until the new closing date. All applicants are encouraged to submit their application in advance of the closing date to avoid any complications which may be experienced due to heavy application volume in the final days and hours prior to the announcement closing.
