DO YOU WANT TO BE A GLOBAL FELLOW?
There is only one month left to apply. Applications are available now at http://careers.usc.edu/students/internships/global-fellows-internship-program/. The Global Fellows Internship Program encourages exploration of international work experience. This is a competitive internship program that provides selected students with international internship experience in Asia. The program is open to U.S. citizens of all majors and provides stipends for USC undergraduates (freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors graduating in December) to live and work in Asia for eight weeks during the summer.

We combine a mix of great products and brands that have a unique message with a motivated and energetic sales team. The result is a professional retail company that provides unparalleled sales results in some of the world's top stores and malls. Alive Products is looking for a part time intern that brings to the table a PASSION for the social media and networking space in order to help us "bring products alive" in a social media environment. Alive products requires an individual who is on top of the newest trends within the beauty and fashion industries, as well as celebrities and entertainment. This position requires the intern to have prior experience utilizing social networking and collaboration technologies, as well as online content creation and management. This includes hands on experience with writing blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. It is imperative that the intern have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to self-motivate. Because the position requires an extensive amount of content writing, excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Again, this is a part-time intern position, but has the potential to become a full time position in the future. The site will contain a web store as well as a semiinteractive book where users can preview content. Pay will be determined based on experience. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Java, and Actionscript. Experience creating ecommerce sites is very helpful. An interest in creating easily accessible web experiences for young children. There will be a strong emphasis on online marketing to small children and their parents. This is a freelance position. Pay rate to be determined on experience. Previous experience in online marketing of products for young children and the ability to come up with unique marketing strategies is a plus. We are a real estate development company and would like to have someone perform administrative functions such as document meeting minutes, filing, and conducting market research for us. Other tasks would include some driving to deliver plans to municipalities and participate in meetings with clients and some due diligence research on properties. Student must be reliable and we are looking for sophomores or Juniors Only. This is a very high profile position within our company and has interaction with clients, municipalities and our consultants. UNPAID INTERNSHIPS
• Bogner Entertainment Inc. – Production Company Intern Bogner Entertainment Inc. (BEI) has films and television shows in production with Nickelodeon, Oxygen, Animal Planet, MTV, Halogen and many more! We are in a production deal with FremantleMedia North America (American Idol, X-Factor, etc.) where we focus on developing and producing reality television shows for major cable networks. Our offices are based out of FremantleMedia in Burbank, CA. Interns at BEI will get real hands on experience casting, developing and producing television shows. You get to work day to day with the executive producer, lead casting and development on new projects and get to work on set when we are in production on new pilots. We would like interns to be internet savvy, know how to write, proficient in shooting and editing casting tapes, and be willing to jump into new projects with a good attitude and learn. We are looking for an individual who is able to perform well under pressure, is a fast-learner, self-starter and a team-player with a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate is hard-working, prompt, organized, able to prioritize effectively and follow instructions extremely well. Knowledge of materials and any prior costume experience is a plus. Must have a car and be willing to drive. Interns aid the Costume Designer, Costume Design Assistant and Costume Department P.A. in their daily tasks.

The show is filmed Monday through Thursday each week and interns help facilitate the Costume Department’s successful completion of a wide range of sketch comedy costumes in each episode of the show. Our Costume Department Interns work on a wide array of tasks. We offer our interns the opportunity to learn about costume from skilled industry professionals. Our interns are able to observe the process of costume building from its earliest stages of design through to completion. Our team consists of two top executives from the TV industry--a top agent from WME, the ex-president of Oprah Winfrey digital network, and an inventor/entrepreneur TV shopping specialist. KCET-TV - Web Intern- SoCal Connected

Student will assist Web producers and editor with basic site maintenance, creating and publishing new entries, particularly on show night (Wednesday). Will help to track Web traffic/metrics and also be involved with social media activities. Could work on light video editing and encoding for Web, and news curation depending on experience. Preference will be given to Journalism majors/minors as well as Broadcast or Online Journalism students. Basic knowledge of HTML, familiarity with blogging software, preferably Movable Type. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy on assigned tasks. Familiar with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic familiarity with Photoshop for image cropping, resizing. Adobe Illustrator a plus. Experience with social media - particularly Facebook and Twitter. Clinton Global Initiative University– CGIU Trip Building on the successful model of the Clinton Global Initiative, , President Clinton launched the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) in 2007 to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses around the world. Each year, CGI U hosts a meeting where students, national youth organizations, topic experts, and celebrities discuss solutions to pressing global issues. CGI

U will be held at George Washington University, Washington, DC from March 30-April 1, 2012. At this meeting, nearly 1,200 attendees will come together to make a difference in CGI U's five focus areas: Education, Environment & Climate Change, Peace & Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health. If you wish to be considered for Trip Assistance funding to attend the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) 2012 meeting, you MUST APPLY BY DECEMBER 5th, 2011. The Truman Scholarship

The Truman Scholarship is a competitive and prestigious program for individuals pursuing careers in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or elsewhere in public service. The competition is open to current juniors who have excellent academic records, a demonstrated commitment to public and community service, and a clear potential for leadership. The Truman program selects approximately 75 students during their junior year, and provides financial support for graduate study and leadership training. The deadline for application is November 20. T. Howard Foundation – Summer Internship Program

The T. Howard Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with some of the largest companies in the world to provide paid full-time summer internships in the multimedia and entertainment industry to multi-ethnic minority students.
