some of these pieces were con@nua@ons of previous works and approaches. some elaborated on themes and techniques in order to understand beDer how to present them. some pieces had new methods explored. some combined pre‐ fabricated found objects with handmade forms.
Penny buDons. sanded. domed. cut & sanded. with holes drilled.
Charm necklace. two pendants with words. one copper with grain treatment: “out of the sunlight, under siMings of pale, fine dust” one spoon remnant: “the old bray of my heart. i am. i am. i am.” found objects.
Bike chain necklace. (con@nua@on of a theme) bike chains brazed together with pieces on the chain.
Lace necklace. copper piece with lace design pressed. holes drilled, lace sewn on. key detail.
Ear cuff. silver rivet connec@ng cut drawer pull with silver ear hardware.
Granula@on ring. silver granula@ons on domed and shaped copper on silver band with ripple detailing
Silver slit ring. silver band with a single line cut.
Spoon ring. handle of a spoon cut, shaped, and soldered
