JOB DESCRIPTION – Senior Electrical Engineer/ Lead Electrical Engineer
Reporting to – Discipline Engineering Manager / Assistant Manager
Position Purpose –
To ensure that engineering design is compliant with customer requirements and all relevant
national and international rules and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Coordinate all activities within the engineering discipline stream for the project
•
Carry out detailed design, sizing and calculations and verify and check the design done
by others
•
To ensure coordination with other disciplines is effective for each project.
•
Review, Check and Approval of all engineering deliverables produced by the discipline
stream.
•
Check MTOs and ensure that requisition is done with all required documents.
•
Ensure appropriate engineering methods are applied by all within the project discipline
stream.
•
Prepare Technical Queries, ERFQ, ECN, CRS and carry out Vendor Data Reviews
•
Ensure all documents and drawings are issued on time and site corrections are captured
in as builts.
•
Ensure all design engineering procedures are followed while doing the engineering
•
Provide guidance and advice to all within the project discipline stream.
•
Develop methods and procedures to improve efficiency of the discipline stream.
•
Ensure latest Rules and requirements are understood by all within the discipline stream.
•
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities

The ideal candidate must have a engineering degree in related discipline and possess a
minimum of 10 years in Marine Offshore industry, especially with Drilling Rigs, Offshore Oil &
Gas.
