Joe the Plumber; The man who Hussein Obama is trying to Eliminate October 16, 2008 Meet Joe Wurzelbacher, a simple American, “Joe-Six-Pack” as Sarah Palin described. After years of working hard to save up, Joe can almost finally afford to buy his own business. For many, this is the American dream, for Barack Obama, this is “rich man” who can now be taxed. During their exchange, Barack turned to Joe and suggested that he ought to give up his hard earned money and “spread the wealth around”. Anyone who has ever studied the history of the Soviet Union, who has spent time studying the works of Marx and Lenin knows that this is one of the tenets of socialism. Within the first twenty, if not thirty minutes of this debate, those words would come back to haunt him. McCain jumped on it, attacking Obama’s tax plan, attacking his ideas of spending other people’s money, attacking the whole notion of raising taxes in the hard economic times we are in… What did Obama do in his defense? Laughed, laughed at every attack as if it would somehow it would make up for not having an answer. Any body language expert can tell you that this was a sign of weakness, a tell-tale defensive reaction. And the hits kept coming… For nearly half an hour, John McCain pounded him on his economic plan, his relationship with Bill Ayers and what it said about his judgment (something Obama lied about during the debate, contrary to what others are reporting), and his absurd notion of “spreading the wealth around”, especially when he keeps talking about helping the middle class (can’t help the middle class when you are taking their money and their boss’ money and giving it to the blacks). McCain went so far that he even compared this backwards mentality to Herbert Hoover’s terrible decisions made during the early years of the Great Depression. He then went on to say that all this talk about the “greedy rich” and the “struggling working folk” was class warfare, something which Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, preached (Obama sounds more Marxist with each passing day). He also turned to the camera and spoke to the people, Joe in particular, about how Obama’s plans would keep them from achieving success, the “American Dream”. His reference to Mr. Wurzelbacher being rich was in reference to “The One’s” assertions that only the rich will be taxed, something Joe found out about first hand. As McCain’s new advertisement states, Americans are finally getting it, they are starting to see that “spreading the wealth around” is going to keep them down. No matter how he swerved, Barack couldn’t get around this, and for that time he was constantly getting hit. For someone who spent the last two weeks touting his economic prowess, he sure didn’t show it last night.

I saw during the debate. Barack’s condescending remark, “good for you”, wasn’t the first thing that irked me as I watched the final debate between these two. A slew of bold face lies, a condescending laugh every time McCain caught him lying, and generally acting like he was already in the White House. Too bad for him that he was stopped the other day by a plumber who challenged his tax plans. I though about what the CNN news team was saying after the debate, that Obama fell flat, that his message just didn’t work last night, and they were right. After all the commercials, it seems that it is getting tiresome, that now that we know the truth behind his allegations, his claims that 95% of Americans will get a tax break (can’t be that much with one third not even paying taxes, more like increased welfare to me), is all talk, “just words” as Barack said in one of his earlier speeches. To me, reexamining the debate, it was like watching a boxing match. After the start of the first round, John McCain knocked him down twice, once on the economic recovery plan, once more on his tax plan and “spreading the wealth”, and while he didn’t get the technical knock out, the match was already over. Sure Obama did get in a few good jabs, his health plan sounded simple, and his education plan was easy to understand (though he lied about the DC superintendent only supporting charter schools, not vouchers, which even Michelle Malkin picked up on in her debate liveblog), but he didn’t have any serious connecting blows. What this came down to was simply that Barack’s efforts to stay in the fight last night was too little, too late. All they can do now is damage control. Joe Biden came out today attacking Joe Wuzelbacher, saying that he didn’t know any plumbers named Joe, especially those making serious money. This coming from the man who can’t count the number of letters in the word J-O-B-S (it is four Joe, four letters, not three), so you can tell they were shaken up by Mr. Wuzelbacher’s words. Even Barack Obama, the guy “standing up for the middle class”, decided to attack the one of these very people. “How many plumbers do you know that make $250,000?” was one of the things he was touting at his rally today. Both him and Biden missed the point completely, that those like Joe won’t be able to make this kind of money if the economy can’t start moving again, and it won’t if their tax plans get implemented. As imperfect as Mr. Wuzelbacher is, it shows very little class to go out and attack a man of simple means simply because he doesn’t agree with your platform. What should we expect though from a person who blames Fox News for his own failings? What should we expect from a man who has had his supporters demonize McCain’s group as homicidal racists (which is contrary to what the Secret Service is saying)?

If McCain does win this, and I have confidence that Americans aren’t stupid enough to elect a man which no experience and a record of blatant antiAmericanism, it will be because of moments like this. When even the simplest of us can knock down a “giant” like Barack Obama. No matter how much damage they can do to Joe by twisting his words, no matter what they will say about him, no matter how much media coverage they give him, the damage is already done. Obama has been bloodied by the blow John McCain delivered with Joe Wurzelburger in his corner. Ah, how nice it is to be one of the regular guys asking a legitimate question of “The One” when pulled out of line randomly by The One himself. Of course we all know that means it’s time to take a page from Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez to try and destroy the guy. Which is exactly what team Obama and his pals in the mainstream media are trying to do. This is the same strategy they did with Sarah Palin and really the same strategy they use whenever anyone doesn’t back the one without question. Barack Hussein Obama: you’re a racist.  Expose his socialist policies: background check, racist, tax evader, same last name as a member of the Keating five.  Question him about Reverend Jeremiah Wright: racist again, just a church, racist, all of you, God Damn Amerikka, racist, white.  Mention Bill Ayers: duck, lie and then revert to calling you an angry mob before calling you racist one more time. Cunt.

See a pattern yet? Take a good look, because this is what life is like in the Democrat’s twisted world where no one dare speak truth to power. Challenge them at your own risk. Note that the Obama campaign can’t even get it right. Joe the plumber never said he made $250,000 a year, he said he wanted to make that much. Watch the video as Mr. elite mocks him and put yourself in Joe the Plumber’s place. The Associated Press thinks it has a scoop. HOLLAND, Ohio - Joe the Plumber’s story sprang a few leaks Thursday. Turns out that the man who was held up by John McCain as the typical, hard-working

American taxpayer isn’t really a licensed plumber. And court documents show he owes nearly $1,200 in back taxes. Of course the obvious note here is that someone went on a personal vendetta and did this sort of background check on Joe the Plumber. Didn’t take long. Strange how it happened in Ohio. I know it is a matter of public record but I don’t think the lien just showed up out of nowhere. Also note that perhaps Joe the Plumber does have a tax lien. Compare the normal guy’s taxes owed to the fraudulent ones of Charlie Rangel, Democrat, who hid $75,000 in Dominican Republic properties and quickly paid $10,800 in back taxes to the IRS. Not much worrying going on there, when a lawmaker that has plenty of means rips off the government. What about that $100,000 stash of dough that William Jefferson, Democrat, had shoved in his fridge. Did he pay taxrs on that money? Did he move it around all at once or in $9,000 increments to avoid detection? Funny those dems, picking on Joe and not caring about their own. Who knows why Joe the plumber is behind in taxes. Kind of bolsters his case in my eyes. Also, didja ever notice how the dopes in the media, the Associated Press, Jonathan Martin and Ben Smith at The Politico and all the other asses in the MSM couldn’t really find time to vet Barack Obama’s shady past but they suddenly have all this time to do a background check on Joe the Plumber? As always, Ed Morrisey puts a beautiful perspective on the event. Now, we have people crawling over his tax records, his voter registration, his professional licensing, and whatever else they can find in the public record. Someone has linked him to the long-deceased Charles Keating, suggesting that somehow Obama managed to pick a McCain plant out of a ropeline full of people by accident. How much longer before a certain blogger at The Atlantic demands a paternity test to see if Joe the Plumber fathered Sarah Palin’s baby — or Bristol’s, for that matter? There is a stench of desperation surrounding this, as if they sense defeat coming from a moment of honesty from Obama about his real intentions to institute a regime of redistribution. They want to discredit the man who only asked the

question as if he’s some political operative who magically forced Obama to sound … well, a little like a Marxist. Why? They want to distract people from Obama’s answer by sliming the man Obama picked at random to ask a question.
I actually like it when this sort of thing happens because it exposes the left for what they are. Thanks to the internet we can see the public persecution of Joe the Plumber in real time. It’s ugly. An ordinary citizen speaks up about how federal policies affect his family and his pocketbook, and bloggers dive into his personal life. His finances, his address, his background and family connections are all splashed all over the internet as bloggers line up to debate whether the instant celebrity is all he appears to be. Many feel he's concealing enough about his background to make his opinion worthless. Next the media steps in to defend the ordinary guy. Time Magazine's Karen Tumulty says he's being 'swift-boated.' The New York Times says he's being 'slimed.' One partisan blogger says the other side ought to stop 'snooping around.' Another accuses adversaries of launching 'a baseless smear campaign.' Commenters at Democratic Underground label those at Free Republic 'scum' for investigating his personal life. That's right: Democratic Underground, Paul Krugman, Daily Kos, Crooks and Liars, Think Progress, Time Magazine, and lots of others on the Left were defenders of privacy when Graeme Frost delivered the weekly Democratic radio address regarding SCHIP. To the Left, it didn't matter that Frost had specifically chosen to make himself a spokesman of the Democratic party; his personal life was still sacrosanct. Those who investigated his background were beneath contempt. 'Joe the Plumber,' on the other hand, never endorsed a candidate, never identified himself as a spokesman for Senator McCain, and never even asked to become a celebrity. All he did was ask a question and state a position when Barack Obama knocked on his door. And that was enough for the defenders of privacy on the Left to tear apart his background and destroy his livelihood. The liberal message is clear: privacy is wonderful until it conflicts with our agenda. Your privacy rights end where our efforts to destroy conservatives begin. I really don't like McCain. I'll probably vote for him just as a vote for divided government. I'm far too libertarian in my leanings to be comfortable with

McCain (or Obama, for that matter). That said, the way the pro-Obama media and bloggers, and Obama himself, have responded to Joe has got me nearly shaking with rage. They are attempting to destroy a man — a private citizen — who had the audacity to ask The One a question. Mind you, Joe was on his front lawn playing football with his son when Obama strolled up to give him his hopenchange spiel. Obama approached Joe, not the other way around. And Joe asked Obama an honest question. And Obama gave him an honest — and very, very revealing — answer. Again, mind you, the embarassment was on Obama's end, not Joe's. It wasn't a gotcha question. And yet, for that Joe is being pilloried, every aspect of his private and professional life being sorted through and exposed. To prove ... what? What does that have to do with Obama's answer? What does Joe's situation have to do with Obama's philosophical answer — that he wants to "spread the wealth"? Obama's answer goes down the memory hole while the nation concentrates its fire on obliterating Joe the Plumber. It's sickening, it's maddening and it's downright chilling. Sorry for the length. But I am just SEETHING. As might be expected, Democrats have since launched an all-out effort to punish/silence "Joe the Plumber" for daring expose the truth behind the Obamessiah's wealth redistribution scheme. The New Editor details some of the underhanded tactics being carried out by Obama's goon squads: Reports in the mainstream media appear claiming that he is unlicensed (even though he doesn't need one as an employee of a business or as a contractor working on a residence), and that he apparently has a tax lien filed against him. Not to be outdone, the Daily Kos published his home address for all the world to see. The Democratic Underground just threw whatever they could at the guy. Michelle Malkin has collected a few of the headlines that are now trickling out which reveal in greater detail the massive welfare handouts that Obama

euphemistically refers to as "tax cuts" for the roughly 41% of Americans who already pay NO INCOME TAXES WHATSOEVER.
