The College Now Program is a comprehensive collaborative initiative of the City University of New York and the New York City Board of Education. Through the active involvement of the colleges within the University, it promotes and supports high standards of academic achievement for New York City public high school school students. students. For students who are not skills certified and are ineligible for enrollment in a 3-credit 3- credit course, they have the opportunity to enroll in a college preparatory course and/or workshop. Students enrolled in college-level courses will be issued aCollege Now ID card and will be able to use the library, swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts and microcomputer labs.
The schedule for College Now courses is slightly modified from the general college schedule. The John Jay College Now Program Program is designed to meet the diverse academic needs and interests of high school students. Admission requirements vary depending on the program and type type of course. It is important for students to have a good high school attendance record and be recommended to the program by their College Now Liaison. Requirements for One-Credit Course: To qualify for a one-credit course, students must have an English Regents R egents test score between have a minimum high school average of 70.
