Become a fan of Launch Ministry on Facebook! The Launch Covenant
People often ask us what it is that we do at Launch to fulfill our mission of holistic life transformation in young adults. I would like to use this article as an opportunity to describe our process of getting involved in the lives of young people and seeing change happen. We meet young adults in a variety of ways. Some are referred to us. Some are people that we previously knew. Some are invited by current Launch members. Some attend events and groups that we hold. Once we get into relationship with a young adult, we regularly offer opportunities to sign our Launch Covenant. This agreement holds Launch members to a degree of accountability, asking them to be very proactive in making changes in their lives. In the covenant, Launch members make the following commitments:

You will receive regular emails with specific ways that you can pray for Launch Ministry.
Volunteer to serve.
If you live in the Chaska area, we have many opportunities for you to get involved. Become a mentor. Serve dinner at a community meal. Drive someone to a job interview. We’d love for you to join us!
Support us financially.
Launch Ministry is in the process of receiving our 501(c)(3) status, but currently you can give tax deductable donations by giving to

Upcoming Events
We’re looking forward to a great summer at Launch! Here are some of the events we have coming up:
our fiscal sponsor, The River Alliance Church, which will then forward that donation on to us. Please make checks payable to The River Alliance Church and
Our weekly Tuesday night Bible study has finished studying
the book of Romans and is now moving on to the Gospel of Luke.
We’ll be taking our first camping trip July 10-12. It will be
great to spend some quality time with the group away from the normal busyness of life.

Our next LifeSkills class will be held on July 25. Our topic
this time is fitness/nutrition/health. We have an outstanding guest presenter who is a longtime personal trainer who has worked locally with a number of Minnesota Vikings players.
Andrew and Corey will be teaching at Chaska TreeHouse on July 30 at their Thursday night
programming. Our hope is to get connected with future Launch members while they are still in high school.
We will be setting up a booth at Chaska’s River City Days on July 31-Aug. 1 to promote the
ministry to potential students as well as the larger community.
Our first Mentor Training class will be held on August 15. We are hopeful that this will be
well-attended by interested potential mentors in the community.
25 for 25
At Launch Ministry, we are able to do a lot with very little. Much of our support to date has come from a few generous people who have given large gifts to help get our organization off the ground. We are now, however, at the point where we need to broaden our base of
financial support. To do so, we are kicking of a campaign that we’re calling “25 for 25”. Our goal is to find 25 people who are willing to give $25 per month. We hope to gain 25 new regular donors for each of the next four months.
Would you be willing to be one of our “25 for 25”? Or perhaps you might feel led to give even more on a monthly basis? Thank you for your willingness to support what God is doing among young people.
