WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE TWEEKED!
A suggestion was made to begin Prayer Meeting earlier,
since we have extra time after supper. Beginning
Wednesday, June 29, Prayer Meeting will begin at 6:45 and
conclude at 7:30. That night will be our Quarterly Church
Conference as well. Chancel Choir rehearsal will begin
earlier at 7:30, to fit into this adjusted schedule.

VBS!
YOUR HELP NEEDED IN WORSHIP
Traditions: they can be positive.
One traditional aspect of our times of corporate
worship is the time when our musicians lead us with
preludes, offertories and postludes. We’ve seen those
terms printed in the order of worship for so many
years, their meanings may have escaped us over time.
Prelude: A piece of music, usually soft and
contemplative, which seeks to encourage the
worshipper to “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Offertory: Music which encourages the worshipper to
celebrate God’s goodness, and celebrate our joy in
faithful obedience (tithing).
Postlude: Music which affirms God’s mercy and
grace, and stirs Christians to actively go and serve
God. Please do your best to be seated and reverent
while these musical gifts to God are shared.
Quarterly Church Conference– Wednesday, June 29
Thanks to our department and committee chairmen for
sharing what God is doing in your areas of responsibility.
It is a very healthy church that continues strongly
ministering and serving the Lord as we search for a pastor
to shepherd His flock here in Bainbridge.

CHANCEL CHOIR
A special word of thanks to each of you for your
faithfulness this summer. Keep up the good work and
remember our rehearsal next Wednesday night, led by
Hal Burrell in my absence.

Submerged: Psalm 139:23-24 ● June 20-23, 5:30-8:30 pm
I want to say, "THANK YOU," again to everyone that supported or
worked in VBS this year. It was a joy to see all the children learn
about Jesus and have a wonderful time. We averaged 71 children each
day and raised $539.40 in our change war for the Georgia Baptist
Children's Home. I am so pleased. Please continue to pray for the
seeds of the Gospel that were planted in many children's hearts.
If you missed our video of the week's events, be sure to check it out in
our Facebook group: FBC Bainbridge Children

I'm A Christian Now! Sunday Nights @ 5:30 pm
This is a Bible Study for any child age 1st-5th grade who has professed
Jesus as Savior. Baptism is not a pre-requisite. It is a great jump start
for any kiddo to learn the basics of Christian faith. The lessons do
build, but the core content can stand alone. Don't let missing one or two
deter from the entire study!
Our next meeting date in July 10th. If your child did not make it to the
initial meeting, please pick up a workbook from me for them to begin
before our next meeting.

Sleep With the Fishes!

July 8, 2:45 pm - July 9, 9 am
Albany Flint RiverQuarium
I have several spots left and I hope your child will join us as we
overnight and see some amazing things at the RiverQuarium. Pizza
lunch and cereal are provided. I will bring snacks. Activities will
include a guided tour, live animal feeding and experience, movie and
other activities. I must know asap (July 1st) if you plan to participate
so as the RiverQuarium will be able to prepare for us.

CentriKid Parent Meeting!

July 10, 7:30pm, Fellowship Hall
We will have a parent meeting for all those children attending camp.
Even if you have not already signed up, if you are interested in
attending, please come to this meeting. We will also very briefly meet
the following Sunday (July 17) before we leave for CentriKid on the
18th.

WIRED
Please continue to pray for our students this
week as we are at camp. Our students are
serving the wiregrass area in a number of
ministry projects. Some are working
construction projects, some are helping in
sports camps, and some are serving the Boys
and Girls Clubs of Dothan. We are also
gathering each night to worship together and
hearing great preaching by our camp pastor.
Pray that God would work in our lives to make
us more like Him!! We look forward to
sharing about our week with our church family
soon.

Blessings,
Jeff
