You've seen their commercials on TV.
You've heard about them from a former
Chicagoan wearing a Cubs, White Sox, Bulls or Bears hat you met in the grocery
store. You've seen their billboards. Amore! Taste of Chicago located at 3945 S.
Durango Drive is famous for it's "true to taste" Chicago style deep dish pizza, but
trust us...they are so much more! Former Chicagoan and owner of Amore, Joey Papa
is passionate about Chicago food. He spent a year seeking out the best meat distributor
to purchase his baby back ribs from and with the help of a few Italian friends,
began perfecting his own sauce, which is made fresh every Wednesday morning
just in time for RIB WEDNESDAY. We are talking fall-off-the-bone delicious BBQ
Baby Back Ribs with fries, side of beans and cornbread.

New to the Lunch menu is a "back home" favorite, the Italian Breaded Steak Sandwich.
Just saying it...sounds delicious and brings back memories. Add a Green River and
you are all set! "There’s something for everyone among our menu offerings, and our
Chicago-trained kitchen staff has garnered the praise of homesick former Chicagoans
since our opening. Even Italian-Americans from the old Chicago neighborhoods
find themselves suddenly transported back to mom’s kitchen table when
they order from our menu." said Joey.

our former Chicagoan culture to our children who are now being raised in the desert

Former Chicagoan Mike Torsiello eats at WCBNP
and quickly became friends with Tim Korney. Mike is
friends with Patrolman Dave & Dave's best friend Kem
and brings them to eat at WCBNP. Dave & Kem are
former New Yorkers so this is a big deal. LOL. And
then... Dave gets struck at high speed by a drunk driver
while on his motorcycle. After long months of surgeries,
the bills began to pile up. That's when his friends went
into action.
Thank you to our former Chicagoan
community who donated their time, raffle prizes and
attended the Fundraiser. Special mention to WCBNP
neighbors NOTHING BUNDT CAKE and Councilman
Stavros Anthony who presented Figs with a Proclamation.
Chef Ignazio or "Iggy" as his customers fondly call
him, opened OMELET HOUSE SUMMERLIN located
in the northwest part of the valley at 2227 N. Rampart Blvd. in 2006. Chef Iggy is a 2nd generation 100%
Italian, raised in Chicago and is a graduate of Kendall College of Culinary Arts. Simply put...this guy has
recipes! Omelet House Summerlin offers breakfast,
lunch and dinner items and is one of our favorite places
for morning Business Meetings. From Stuffed French

Meet Kevin Schweitzer. Kevin is a
3rd year student at UNLV School
of Law. He is riding in the 2015
Great Cycle Challenge in June to
fight kids' cancer! Currently. cancer is the largest killer of children
from disease in the US and on average, 36 children die from cancer
every week. Kevin's charitable
goal is to ride 150 miles during the
month of June and raise at least
$500 in contributions. Please visit
