Saturday, February 2, 10-4 p.m. Become a blanketeer while you learn how to make a fleece blanket with tied-strips. Materials provided while supplies last. Tools needed: very sharp scissors or rotary blade, cutting mat, quilter’s ruler. All blankets will be donated to Project Linus.

Wednesdays in February, 5-6 p.m. Wellness Walkers In Northern Kentucky is open to anyone who would like to make walking for exercise part of their normal routine. Bring your own hand weights or bands and dress in comfy clothes. Come for one mile, two or even all three miles using One Mile Walking DVD.

Thursdays, February 7 & 21, 5-8:30 p.m. Meet and mingle with local stitchers! Have fun swapping patterns, sharing techniques and trading tips on stitches, sweaters and other projects. Cast on for this month’s KAL or CAL or both!

Grades 1-6 Friday, February 8, 10:30 a.m. Our Ohio River is one of our most precious natural resources. The educators from the Foundation for Ohio River Education will demonstrate how sediment pollutes our river, and show us how to measure turbidity in water samples.
