FIRST TEAM
Ali Crupper, Ryle: The senior
pitcher was a Northern Kentucky
Coaches Association Division I
first-team all-star after compiling
a 3.23 ERA and 113 strikeouts
against a very tough schedule.
Hannah Dossett, Gallatin County:
The junior catcher/third baseman
was selected all-Eighth Region and
helped the Lady Wildcats finish
with a 20-4 record and advance to
the Eighth Region semifinals. She
has committed to Ball State.
Laura Finke, Notre Dame: The
senior center fielder/shortstop was
a Northern Kentucky Coaches
Association Division I first-team
all-star after she hit .522 with 12
doubles, six triples, a homer, 36
RBI, 52 runs and 27 stolen bases in
helping the Pandas finish as Ninth
Region runners-up. She struck out
only four times all season.
Jessica Koors, Cooper: The senior
catcher was a Northern Kentucky
Coaches Association Division I
first-team all-star after hitting .533
with five doubles, a triple, a homer
and 14 stolen bases and struck out
just once all season. She has com-
mitted to Transylvania University.
Dallis Knotts, Boone County: The
senior pitcher/shortstop was se-
lected Northern Kentucky Coaches
Association Division I Player of the
Year after she helped her team
advance to the Ninth Region semi-
finals by going 16-5 with a 1.92 ERA
and 132 strikeouts in 146 innings on
the mound and hitting .519 with 11
doubles, three triples, a homer, 26
RBI, 38 runs scored and 16 stolen
bases. She has committed to Thom-
as More College.
Haley Meyers, Newport Central
Catholic: The freshman pitcher
was selected Northern Kentucky
Softball Coaches Association Divi-
sion II Co-Player of the Year after
posting a 17-9 record with a 2.26
ERA and 169 strikeouts in 145

innings. She pitched five no-hitters
(one that was a perfect game),
three one-hitters and seven two-
hitters.
Elizabeth Sims, Conner: The ju-
nior pitcher was a Northern Ken-
tucky Coaches Association Divi-
sion I first-team all-star and helped
the Cougars advance to the Ninth
Region semifinals by going 15-14
with a 2.09 ERA and 159 strikeouts
in 200 innings on the mound and
hitting .381 with five homers and
29 RBI.
Haylee Smith, Notre Dame: The
junior pitcher/shortstop, who was
Enquirer Player of the Year in 2011
and 2013, was a Northern Kentucky
Coaches Association Division I
first-team all-star after she went
16-2 with a 0.92 ERA on the mound
and hit .462 with 17 doubles, two
triples, three homers and 42 RBI.
She struck out just twice all sea-
son.
Bella Steinle, Ryle: The senior
shortstop returned after not play-
ing for a year and was voted Ninth
Region Player of the Year by the
Kentucky Softball Coaches Associ-
ation and was a Northern Ken-
tucky Coaches Association Divi-
sion I first-team all-star after hit-
ting .547 with a .625 on-base per-
centage and 25 RBI. She struck out
just once all season.
Hannah Thacker, Walton-Verona:
The senior pitcher led the Bearcats
to the semifinals of the Eighth
Region tournament and was select-
ed to the all-region team after post-
ing a 22-9 record and recording 238
strikeouts. She has signed with
Shawnee State.
SECOND TEAM
Brennah Dutcher, Highlands: The
sophomore first baseman came on
strong in the second half of the
season to help the Bluebirds win
the Ninth Region title and finished
the season batting .434 with eight
doubles, two triples, two homers
and 52 RBI.
Jenna Hicks, Conner: The sopho-
more shortstop/second baseman
was a Northern Kentucky Coaches
Association Division I first-team
all-star after hitting .426 with 35
runs scored and 18 RBI.
Sydney Himes, Conner: The sen-
ior outfielder was a Northern Ken-
tucky Coaches Association Divi-
sion I first-team all-star after she
hit .369 with 31 runs scored and 16
RBI.
Katlyn Hoeh, Newport: The junior
pitcher was selected a Northern
Kentucky Softball Coaches Associ-
ation Division II first-team all-star
after going 15-6 with a 2.03 ERA
and 147 strikeouts in 124 innings on
the mound and hitting .500 with six
doubles, three triples, a homer, 26
RBI and 38 runs scored.
Abby Jones, Notre Dame: The
sophomore pitcher/right fielder
and was a Northern Kentucky
Coaches Association Division I
second-team all-star after going
12-4 with a 0.74 ERA on the mound
and hit .383 with 14 doubles, a tri-
ple and three homers.
Mary Beth Odom, Dixie Heights:
The junior third baseman was se-
lected Northern Kentucky Softball
Coaches Association Division I
first-team all-star after hitting .464
and slugging .768 with four hom-
ers, 24 RBI and 32 runs scored.
Caitlyn Palmer, Boone County:
The junior third baseman was a
Northern Kentucky Coaches Asso-
ciation Division I first-team all-
star after helping the Lady Rebels
advance to the Ninth Region semi-
finals by hitting .478 with nine
doubles, a triple and 26 RBI.
Whitney Quillen, Highlands: The
speedy third baseman sparked the
Bluebirds to the Ninth Region title
by hitting .404 with six triples, 42
runs scored and 13 RBI.
Kristen Schreiber, Newport Cen-
tral Catholic: The junior catcher
was selected a Northern Kentucky
Softball Coaches Association Divi-
sion II first-team all-star. She hit
.395 with a .490 on-base percent-
age, .651 slugging percentage, 17
doubles, 20 RBI and 32 runs scored
and threw out 9 of 21 runners at-
tempting to steal.
Gabby Stewart, St. Henry: The
sophomore catcher was a Northern
Kentucky Coaches Association
Division II first-team all-star after
hitting .518 with three homers and
32 RBI.
PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Shelby Graybill, Highlands: The sophomore catcher/third
baseman helped lead Highlands to the Ninth Region title by batting
.514 with nine homers, 19 doubles and 54 RBI. She was selected North-
ern Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Division II Co-Player of
the Year and was the only Northern Kentucky player voted to the
Kentucky High School Softball Coaches Association all-state team; she
was an honorable mention Class 2A selection. THE ENQUIRER/CARA OWSLEY
COACH OF THE YEAR
Rob Coffey, Highlands:
In just his second season as head coach he led the team
to its first Ninth Region tournament championship and
to a win in the double-elimination state tournament. The
Bluebirds finished with a 27-12 record.
