Tortuga Island Book Centre The island book centre is designed to offer a variety of book and pictorial display. One face has full pin board with a kinderbox base offering plenty of room for large format books. The other face has 5 stepped shelves each with bungee rubber retaining straps and holds between 30-40 forward facing books. A small pin board give additional space for poster display. Mead Unit The Mead Displayer displays current periodicals and magazines and has storage behind white plastic display flap for back issues. Table top 25mm other panels 19/18mm. Metal framed finished silver RAL 7016. Each leg (two) is driven with controls to give equal lift to each leg what ever the weight distribution. All cables to leg and control point are low voltage for safety, only mains wire to control box standard voltage. Each leg has a weight capacity of 70kgs and for additional safety the system incorporates a double acting brake to prevent any accident if overloaded. As the CPU unit is fixed to the underside of the desk only mains cables and any telecom cables need to extend with the table.

All cables to leg and control point are low voltage for safety, only mains wire to control box standard voltage. Each leg has a weight capacity of 70kgs and for additional safety the system incorporates a double acting brake to prevent any accident if overloaded. As the CPU unit is fixed to the underside of the desk only mains cables and any telecom cables need to extend with the table.
