Los Angeles is a large coastal town in south California in the west of the USA. It is the largest city as well as the capital of California and the second largest city in the USA with a total population of 3.800.000.Los Angeles is famous because of the mild climate and the film and television industry. In Los Angeles there are 4 boroughs: Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Anaheim!
There are some positive and negative nicknames of Los Angeles. The most famous nickname, which we all know, is "L.A."- it´s only a short version of Los Angeles. Another name is "City of Angels": Los Angeles is a spanish name and it means "The Angels“ Los Angeles is also called "Southland", this name is commonly used by Los Angeles radio and television media. "Lalaland", "Lotusland" and "Lotusville" are three more nicknames for this city. Los Angelesis also called the "Double Dubuque", which is a putdown on the city, it was used after World War 2. The last nickname I want to mention, is "El Pueblo". It´s the spanish word for "The town". This was the most famous name for Los Angeles during the Spanish period (around 1800)

Fashion is a distinctive and often habitual trend in the style in which a person dresses. It is the prevailing styles in behaviour and the newest creations of textile designers. The more technical term costume has become so linked to the term "fashion" that the use of the former has been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while "fashion" means clothing more generally, including the study of it. Fashion in Los Angeles is quite extravagant with few exceptions. In this city the fact how you look is the first thing that you need to check when you leave the house, especially the stars must be careful how to dress.
Hollywood: Hollywood is the most well-known film metropolis of America and the world. Six large film studios dominate the industry: Universal Studios, MGM, Warner Brothers, Paramount Films, 20th Century Fox and Columbia Films. The most well-known Film studio = Universal Studios: The Universal Studios welcomes its visitors with a theme- park, to which belongs a shopping street. The most important attraction in the theme-park is the studio
route which shows behind the scenery of the films and many spectacular effects: you can watch for example houses burn, earthquakes and subways derail. Walk of Fame: On the Walk of Fame there are stars with the names of the most famous people of the industry. This sidewalk goes along the Hollywood boulevard and VineStreet. At the beginning there were 2000 empty stars, but with the time it becomes more stars! The landmark from Hollywood is the HOLLYWOOD- sign in the Hollywood Hills, which is over the borough. Each letter of the sign is 12 meters high.
